Discussion, Smack, it all serves the same purpose. In the end many people will participate in "discussion," but shy away from "smack." We have changed the name many times before and it may change again. ...just not today.

I love smack as much, if not more, than the next cat.... but to many of our members "smack" involves obscenities about family members and strays very far from hoop.

There is nothing better than hoop smack, but permitting free-form smack caused a lack of control and loss of members.

If anyone want's to try managing a "smack of the week" session in the ATR forum, go for it. I'll participate.
