Real GM: NBADraft.net - Sources told NBADraft.net on Tuesday that Pittsburgh center Aaron Gray and Texas wing PJ Tucker will declare themselves eligible for the 2006 NBA Draft. Both players are expected to make their announcements within the next week.

As juniors, and without having declared for the draft before, both players will wait to sign agents, maintaining their NCAA eligibility and a possible return next season

PJ Tucker brings toughness, intensity, and great defense at the SF positions, but one of the primary concerns scouts had of his game was whether he had a true position in the NBA. It's still hard to answer that now even though he's improving his perimeter game, but he is still a SF trapped in a SG's body at best. He can bring intensity and toughness to any team in the early 2nd round if he stays in, however.

Aaron Gray improved vastly this season but he is mostly likely a poor man's Brad Miller type player. However, a center with his height and weight and decent skills are hard to find in the NBA, so he would probably be drafted around #16 to #24. He plays below the rim and lacks athleticism in every sense, and is extremely slow to counter his jumpshot, rebounding (his best attribute) and low post moves.
