Real GM: WTNH.com - George Washington junior guards Danilo Pinnock and Carl Elliott have entered their names into the NBA draft. They could still return for their senior seasons, as neither has hired an agent.
Pinnock averaged 14-point-5 points, 5-point-3 rebounds, and 2-point-5 steals per game for the Colonials, who finished the season 27-and-3, with a 16-and-0 record in the Atlantic 10. |

I thought the only NBA prospect GW had was that Pops guy. And even he's borderline 2nd. _________________

Pinnock is somewhat underrated, actually. Initially I thought Pops Mensah-Bonsu was their only draft prospect, but Pinnock is a guy who is capable of attacking the rack and filling the stat sheet especially in the steals category. He's quite athletic, but the downsides are that he's 6'5", doesn't have the best decision making and he's a good jumpshot away from the league. Still, he can afford another year and with his athleticism and nice guard build, he will get some looks in the mid to late 2nd round in the 2007 draft.
Carl Elliot is quite athletic, but not much of a draft prospect. Another year would be good to see what he could do.
As for Pops-Mensah Bonsu, he's basically wiped himself out of the draft picture with his injuries, not to mention he didn't improve all that much this year. Yeah, he's uber-athletic, but that's all. He'll be Olumide Oyedeji--out of the league. _________________ Ideal Lakers: Kirk Snyder, Derek Anderson, Fred Jones, Theo Ratliff, Mickael Gelebale Others of interest: Ricky Davis, Jason Williams, Bonzi Wells, Quinton Ross, Yakhouba Diawara, Walter Herrmann, Salim Stoudamire, Devin Brown, Michael Finley, Juan Dixon, Brian Skinner, Jamaal Magloire, Kareem RushMORE |
