| The only one who is untouchable is Kobe. Everyone else is and should be touchable. I don't think they will trade Odom, but he is not untouchable!! Kobe is the Lakers. Odom is awesome, but he did not play consistantly all year. I don't think anyone did except Kobe. You know what you get from him every night!! There were no others that you can say that about!! |

Odom is untouchable, believe me.
Phil wouldn't have come back unless Odom was on the team. He is the best at getting the most out of people, just give Odom time. He's shown flashes of being a top-20 player in the league. The role he's trying to master in the triangle is difficult, it will take more than one season.
You may think that we are wasting Kobe's talent with the role players around him, but have you ever thought about how many more assists Odom would have if we got a post presence? How much more room he'd have to work with? We can't all think in terms of Kobe.

I don't believe he is untouchable..If you can get an all-star you have to give him up because you won't trade Kobe!! He is the only player that has any trade value!!! Therefore he is not untouchable!!! |

Those four are untouchable and barring we are getting a major player honestly Walton and cook two of Phil's favorite players are 90% untouchable as well.

I agree if LO would have been consistant all year, but he was not. I read a big trade isn't likely, but if something did come along they wouldn't pass it up. So they could trade him..he is your only tradable commodity!!!
If they did make a trade Lamar would be the one to go!! I really don't want him to go, but if we can get an even better player you would have to let him go!! |
