Im guessing Portland gets the number 1 and takes Thomas, but if Chicago gets it I think Aldridge fits more of their system.

tyrus thomas came out of no where and shot up to 1-3, because of 2 great games...

alridge has proved himself throughout the whole season...

i'd pick alridge personally..

I think it's going to be Aldridge. He'd be a perfect fit for the Bulls. And I think the Blazers would be better off with him than they would with Thomas. They are losing one of their centers and Theo isn't getting any younger. Aldridge could help them out with that.

2)lamarcus aldridge
3)rudy gay

26)im hoping that someone like lowry will drop or that we trade up... at this pick...no no no dee brown... if you look at nbadraft.net they actually have quite a few good players down in the first round...draft steal?

Honestly, I don't see there being a chance in hell of the Blazers taking AM.

They drafted their g/f for the future last year with their 6th pick. Then followed that by taking another SF with the 27th pick. And yet another with the 35th pick.

And then add the SFs they already had on their roster--Miles, Khryapa, and Outlaw (who could start).

Their future lies with Webster and Outlaw starting, Morrison would have no place to play.

IF they draft Morrison, their GM will be fired on the spot.

year in and year out portland has a great chance to get rid of some pricey players and pick up someone nice in the draft. they should trade down into a center position, get rid of miles, get into the brandon roy sweepstakes, get ltos of expiring k's.

I also heard Portland and Charlotte as both being very high on Morrison, but honestly I think theyd be foolish to pass him up and start Outlaw (assuming they pick in the 2-5 range, not first). Move a few salaries in the offseason, and they have a nice young core of Telfair, Webster and Morrison, with someone else possibly cracking the lineup via trade for Randolph. I still think they will go big, but Morrison makes some sense with that pick, not to mention they get a local kid that will immediately give them some much needed crediblity with the fans in that area.
