Do you think it has ever happened: Where a draftee wanted to go to a certain team and tanked some workouts so he could fall to that team.
Example: Good players go to the bad teams if he falls a little he could play for a better team usually after the 15th pick the teams are better.
Just wondering!

I know that Gerald Green didnt want to go to Toronto so he avoided their workouts and even claimed he wouldnt show up. Stupid move considering it hit his stock hard. _________________

I think Lamar refused working out with the #1 team in the year he was drafted. _________________
Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

| I think they could reword the sentence about the Lakers to Phil Jackson like him, but the Lakers just don't have the pieces to move up. This is definitely a type player who Phil would be wanting the Lakers to draft, if they could. He'd be very good in the triangle. He's a left handed Deron Williams.[/quote] |
