And another one bites the dust. I've never seen a day in all my years as Commissioner where three GMs get canned/re-sign on the same day.

I have learned that the Pistons fired Randomfilipino69 as their GM. They were very displeased with his refusal to make any moves. He was seen vacationing in Miami, soaking up the sun, instead of performing his duties and attempting to re-sign Ben Wallace. This left Pistons fans and owners more than slightly miffed. The team promised their next GM would not make the same mistakes.

Similar to the Spurs situation, the Pistons already have another GM lined up to take over. I'm glad to see these teams are wasting no time and are on the ball. They have decided to hire Mr. LakersKB8LO7

Just hours after firing their GM, the Detroit Pistons have decided to hire Lakerskb8lo7 as their new GM. At the press conference held earlier today, Lakerskb8lo7 responded to his hiring, and talked about his plans on GM

" I am extremely excited about the opportunity ahead. We have a great starting lineup that we would like to keep intact. Obviously [Ben] Wallace is a free agent, and we will do our best to keep him here. The team already has good chemistry, and we would like to retain most of the players on the team. I expect the organization to get done what needs to get done, and continue competing for championships for many years to come."

The former GM of the Pistons left the Mr. Lakerskb8lo7 with a championship contending team. The Pistons have the same starting 5 that won them the 2004 NBA Championship.
