Laker fan from Pittsburgh

Been a hardcore Laker fan all my life. As a kid I grew up mimicking the Nick Van Exel boxing imitations he would do after making a big shot and have always love the purple and gold just as much as the black and gold. Though I am not old enough to have seen Magic Johnson play (except for his overweight comeback) the "Showtime" era is what originally drew me to the Lakers as a kid who loved the game of basketball and the NBA. The updates and summer league coverage on this site is tremendous. I like many of you love reading and seeing every detail of how these guys are progressing and what to expect from some of our future. This rebuilding process and this past playoff series was one of the most exciting times I can remember as a Laker fan. I can't wait until next season!

Favorite Laker moment: Kobe Bryant going OFF @ Indiana in the Finals after Shaq fouled out in overtime hitting big shot after big shot.

Worst Laker moment: Losing to the Pistons in the 05 Finals.

Favorite Lakers : Ron Harper, Eddie Jones, Robert Horry, Mitch Richmond, AC Green

My most hated Lakers: Isiah Rider, Chucky Atkins, Travis Knight

Funniest Laker moment: Ron Harper bringing his white as hell son who was about the same age as him on the floor after they won the NBA Finals.

Wow you pretty much described my origin of Laker fanaticism! I think we must be around the same age (I'm 22) cuz my 1st Laker memory was when I was 6 and the Lakers were playing the Bulls in the Finals. NVE, Eddie Jones, Sedalle Threatt, Tony Smith, Anthony Peeler...Those were my BOYS right there!
