|

The staff and I have noticed a lot of posters abusing the rules by bypassing the cursing filters. We ask you to please express your emotions, but not by breaking the simple rules. If you cannot convey your message without the usage of vulgar language, please do not bother posting or the staff will take actions.
In short, we ask you as a staff to keep it within reason; we are understanding. There are times where frustration sets in and you want to yell out obscenities, but please contain yourself. During the course of a game, it's a natural feeling and we understand that. But please, before you post the four letter ban-worthy word, just change it to a simple "damn."?
In other news, our Gameday broke a record in replies with over 1300+ replies to the season opener thread. This is indicative of Clublakers' growth and I'm very proud to be apart of the organization of game discussions. Thank you for your participation amongst the greatest fans in the world. Keep on believing, we will get back to the top, and when those times look tough, just refrain from those colorful words.
Thank you,
- The Clublakers' Staff |

I saw a few people in Gameday tonight who MIGHT want to read over this before the next game.
Swearing is not permitted. Period, no exceptions. I don't care if Kobe made the greatest play of all time or Sasha has pissed you off more than anyone you've ever seen. I don't care if the Lakers choke on a defensive sequence, fumble the ball out of bounds, or blow a 40 point lead.
There is NO reasoning that would be acceptable for swearing or bypassing the swear filter. IF the message comes up saying "swearing is not allowed," you would be best off going back and editing it. If you type a swear word, think for a second, locate the backspace button, erase it, and replace it with a more family friendly word before submitting your post.
Thanks. _________________

I guess my last bump of this thread wasn't a good enough reminder.
Apparently several members must have thought anything goes and this was an unmoderated forum. I think after tonight's game they should know otherwise. _________________

Podium was working overtime in that thread last night, I don't know how he had time to enjoy the game with all the warnings he had to hand out. _________________

Incidentally, there was a fair bit of foul language on or about page 14 (possibly 13) of the game against the Pacers. I'd love it if someone got banned for it. _________________
