how about the bench: bynum, radman, evans, farmar weren't even here or did not play last year. you get odom back, add cook to that list. oh yeah, turiaf ain't half bad either. one of the best benches in the league.
BTW, lakers no longer need to get a point guard with jordan farmar. this guy looks like he has an outstanding future NBA player.

Hells yea!
I LOVE THIS GUY!!!
DAM I WANT HIM TO START ALREADY!!!
SERIOUSLY!
FOR THE MOST PART, EVERYTIME HE'S ON THE COURT, GOOD THINGS HAPPEN!
REAL GOOD THINGS!
WHETHER IT BE HIM CREATING FOR HIS TEAMMATES,
HIS NATURAL BBALL IQ/INSTINCTS AND PRESENCE ON THE COURT,
AND OR HIS EFFORT/HUSTLE/ENERGY/LOVE FOR THE GAME
HIS FEWER TURNOVERS THAN SMUSH, AND BETTER SHOT SELECTION/LESS WILD.
ALL THIS FROM A DAM ROOKIE!!!
A ROOKIE!!!
HE IS AMAZING!
AND TRULY DOES HAVE PLENTY OF POTENTIAL. |

| I like how he outplayed Marcus Williams. Farmar is just so darn cocky that he gives teammates confidence. 5 dimes as well. In tandem we outplayed Kidd and crew, |

Probably because the 2nd unit would suck if Smush was running it. _________________

Im puzzled at this point why he was drafted so late. He lead his team to the NCAA finals, he appears to be a good kid with no off court issues, very athletic, good passer underrated shooter.
All people talk about with pg's is leadership and winning and he did both.
I'm glad so many teams missed on him its our gain but very poor scouting to think he wasn't a lottery pick. |

I believe it's because he's only 6 feet and "has no jump shot". Apparently a jump shot can be worked on and improved (who knew) though, because he sure looks like he has one. Other stuff like good instincts, a natural feel for the game, great passing ability, and good defense aren't that important on draft day I guess. Oh well, lucky for us. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

Simply put he's been running things these past 2 games. He plays with such confidence for a rookie. It's no wonder he's been a winner/leader everywhere he's been before the Lakers. _________________

Yep, I never thought his jumper would be a problem really. He seemed capable of being streaky and finiding his rythm.
But asie from that I don't see anything that would have kept him from being a good prospect. he's not soft he's pretty tough. league knows better than slip up and let us find a steal |
