Good Old Matt Barnes eh? Played against him in high school and he was the laziest guy on the court at all times. I guess thats what happens when you know you're always the best one out there. But seriously, his teams should have gone deep into the playoffs, and won some section championships at least. I was surprised UCLA gave him a chance based on potential. He must have showed them something in private workouts or something.

He's been doing quite well lately though, thats for sure.

you are lucky tho, I have injuries man5

Chris Paul is down and Biedrins and Joe Johnson has been trash the last few games. And for some reasons you have many more games this week than I do.

It's New Year - some teams have 2-games weeks...

Question is, how long is he gonna keep this up for? I'm hesitant to pick him up since I'm limited on waiver pickups in my league. I only have 4 more the rest of the season.

Seems like he's been putting up the numbers all season...Should I go for it???

depends on the FA pool.

I would definitely do it. He gets 40+minutes every game and has been producing more than many stars. I would definitely go for it.

What about when JRich comes back? You think Barnes will still be getting comparable minutes/production?

The dude looks really tempting, just like Kevin Martin...Putting up the points, percentages, 3's...even grabbing some boards and steals...wow

well J-Rich is out for 6 weeks after breaking his hands. Barnes is starting at PF, so getting J-Rich back will probably cut into his minutes but nontheless he will play 30 mpg IMO. for the next 6 weeks, its worth it.

8-17 FG, 3-3 FT, 4 3PM, 5 Rbd., 3 Asst., 2 Blks, 23 Pts......

AT HALFTIME

(Of course, the score is 68-67 and neither team is playing any D, but still...)

And he has 7 threes...wow.

Of course, Mike Miller has 8 threes right now in the same game.

EDIT...now Miller has 9 threes, and I just traded for him. I just hope he is still this hot when I get him on my squad!

Goes to show you what guys can do when they finally get PT in a system that suits them. Barnes has jumped around the league quite a bit the last few years...Kings/Sixers/Knicks/Warriors

The best part is that his breakout game this year was against the Kings, the first team to give him up, and he's from Sac too.

Then he went on to blow up the Sixers too.

When do they play the Knicks jam2

*edit* He actually played for the Clips first.

I remember he got drafted by the Sixers or something, then I remember he played for the Clips, which I thought was awesome since he came out of UCLA. Then he jumped around various california teams, and found himself on the Warriors.

Trade JRich!
