Yea I understand we can't rely on CL people. But it frustrates me as an admin, when I see a "guest" online, and they don't register. I've advertised on myspace/facebook/youtube and haven't gotten any new members in two weeks. I have had two people other than myself post a total of 5 times the past week.
I just think with some help from CL people, debates can get going, and when guests check out the site, they will be more likely to register.

You need to go to the NJ newspapers websites, they surely have forums.
Most of my members are from those type sites. Look at how www.ClubSonics.com is doing (we have the most posts of the recently added forums) |

True...we're right up there as well...difference being that while you and I both have about 1/4 of our sites posts (I'm a bit under 25% and you're over) my number one poster isn't me

I have 69% of mine. It was around 77% the other day, so I have been getting contributions.

My advice for all the new sites is get all the rumors you can on there. I think the majority of the poster's here found CL that way.

I'd also like to recommend to users here that post NBA info, a way it might help other sites is if you post something about another team in here, post it on the Club____ site regarding that team as well. For example
If you post "Delonte West to miss 6 weeks with ankle injury" in here, go post it at ClubCeltics too, that would help get traffic flowing. Or even the Jason Kidd to Lakers ors, go to ClubNetsHoops and talk about it with some Nets fans.

make sure u have ______ trade rumors and the like in ur meta tags...cl gets so many hits from the google search laker trade rumors
also
have a theatre and gallery, make them private for registered members and then make sure it is known they are there people will register to get into there and then they'll start to post since they've already gotten the account..
i wish i could get ahold of one of these sites.
