Not sure about Okafor, but I have Joe Johnson and Im not dropping him. I don't think the injuries serious, I think its more of a day to day thing. _________________

Joe Johnson missed his sixth consecutive game with a bruised right calf. He did not travel with the team on their five-day road trip. His rehabilitation, Hawks coach Mike Woodson said, is coming along slowly.
When and if Johnson might return has not been determined. But Mike Woodson said under no circumstance would the team captain be "rushed or pressured" to return before feels totally comfortable.
Emeka Okafor (left calf strain) did some light running and shooting, but did not scrimmage, according to the Charlotte Observer. His return to the roster is still uncertain.
So looks like Joe misses this week and possibly next at a minimum. He isn't day to day, listed by the Hawks as out indefinitely. Okafor should be back by this weekend/early next week. |

KB8 - Here you go...April 1 at the earliest.
Forward Andres Nocioni has missed 19 of the last 20 games with plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He's hoping to be able to start running this week and has a goal of playing by April 1. "I want to be right for the playoffs," he said Saturday, "so I need to come back before the playoffs. We need to wait one more week, see how it is walking around. Then we can try to run a little bit more and start to do something. Right now I'm doing bike, pool and lifting weights and that's it. I think next week I can try to run or shoot." |

PG/SG Joe Johnson, Atlanta -- Deep bruise in calf caused complications, still out indefinitely with a very remote chance of a return
PG/SG Dwyane Wade, Miami -- Separated left shoulder, rehabbing the injury and still could return for final two weeks of the season but at less than 100 percent
F/C Jermaine O'Neal, Indiana -- Knee sprain, day-to-day but playing through the pain for now
G/F Jason Kapono, Miami -- High left ankle sprain, out indefinitely
SG Ray Allen, Seattle -- Bone spurs in ankle, playing through the pain for now
F/C Emeka Okafor, Charlotte -- Slightly torn left calf, still out indefinitely but is expected to start running next week
SG J.R. Smith, Denver -- Knee surgery, day-to-day
SF/PF David Lee, New York -- High ankle sprain, still out indefinitely
F/C Boris Diaw, Phoenix -- Back spasms, day-to-day but playing
SF/PF Andres Nocioni, Chicago -- Plantar fasciitis, out another two weeks
PF Sean May, Charlotte -- Bone bruise of the knee, day-to-day

Problem with Emeka and JJ - their teams are so far out of the playoff race, there's really no reason for them to come back and play this season.
I have them on some of my teams as well. In the roto leagues, I'm just keeping them on my bench, since there's no on on waivers worth picking up.
In the H2H leagues, I'll drop them once playoffs roll around and I need the games played. |
