Javaris needs to finish better when he gets in the lane.

Lakers going a little away from the triangle offense and using Javaris at he top of the key and running high screens for him.
This is what i wanted to see.
This is kinda of how Miami uses Wade and how we use Kobe in 4th quarters _________________ http://online-television-network.com |

In terms of scoring and athleticism... yes
Farmar can run the offense better than Critt right now. Critt has the potential since he's bigger and all, but I like Farmar's floor leadership and his passes.
and Farmar can always develop his jump shot |

Critt had to get aggressive because we were down by double digits
He has the ability to take over a game
Id like to see Critt in the game at the same time with Lamar and Kobe _________________ http://online-television-network.com |

"Crit, "I am falling in love with your game. Keep it up. It only gets harder come TC.
Absolutely love this guy. I'll give you this one Mitchell.

Damn, I missed the last 2 games in a row.
Sounds like Javaris played a hell of a game (again). Can't wait to watch it. _________________

I hate saying this and I'm gonna say it anyway, Critt looks like Dwade to me, similar size, the easy athleticism, the great handle and crossover, maybe a more reliable jumper at an earlier stage. But he plays that sorta game.
Not saying he's that god et but he plays that way.
He's gonna be a really good one. I think alot of idiot GM's missed on this kid. I'm very glad Mitch took him even though we drafted a pg last season.
Critt can play the classic combo guard although he has major pg skills. When he hits the floor with other great players like Kobe and Odom he could be outstanding if he maintains his aggressiveness.
But Farmar is completely stuck it seems to me, He plays far too tenative still. he has the talent to be a good one as well but he's playing like he's the Rook and Critt's been in the league a season. |

Farmar isn't tenative. I don't know how you get that idea. Farmar is a pass-first PG. Period. And he's very good at creating for others. Much better than Critter anyway. He's also IMO a better defender. Not much better, but noticeable.
Critter is a guard with all-around talent, but he seems to use his scoring talent more than his passing and creating abilities.
Farmar may not be as talented as Critter, but he's more of a PG than Critter is. He's more authoritative when he's on the court and is better at managing the team and creating for others.
He had 5 points, 6 assists, 1 TO, and 4 steals. He was basically the creator and defender for the team today and let Critter and Brandon Gay score. _________________ Please Read the HDTV Media FAQ http://www.clublakers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=51627

Missed the game, but it looks like Crit had a very good game.
28 points
9-18 FG
2-3 3pt FG
8-9 FT
Gay had a solid night too...
17 & 7 in 21 minutes. _________________

I bet Crittenton becomes a solid starter in the NBA before Bynum does.
Whatever we do this summer via trades, I hope it is Farmar that gets traded and not Critt. We REALLY got lucky that he fell to #19. I know this is only the summer league, but even in college, Critt was one of the best PG's in the nation and he was only a freshman.
I know Farmar is smart and can run an offense, but with Odom on our team, we could use a PG with a scorers mentality like Critt. |

1) Bynum is already an average center. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3936
And he's only 2 months older than Crittenton is.
2) Farmar will most likely NOT be traded because he's a pass-first PG. He's only good for teams that already have scorers and need distributors. That means he won't be good for teams that are rebuilding. Crittenton is a scoring guard with all-around talent. He will be asked for first and most likely will be what gets a trade done. Especially with Indy.
3) Actually with Odom, Kobe, and possibly Vlad starting (which PJ mentioned many times that he wants to do), it would make more sense to have a passing-first PG like Famar on the floor to create for the scorers. Too many scorers isn't good for the offense. This is even more necessary if we had Kobe, JO, and LO on the floor. _________________ Please Read the HDTV Media FAQ http://www.clublakers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=51627
