What? Nate is too small to occupy the shooting guard position. I think the Knicks will keep him as Marbury's backup.

This will most likely be the lineup:

Eddy Curry
Zach Randolph
Quinten Richardson
Jamal Crawford
Stephon Marbury

But I would like...

Eddy Curry
Zach Randolph
David Lee
Quinten Richardson
Stephon Marbury

Because D-Lee deserves to start and Jamal is effective off the bench.

By the way, check out what Starbury did for this family:

Back to the tour, Cincinnati was unbelievable yesterday. I met a family who lost everything in Katrina. I asked them if they had ever seen a black card. I gave them my American Express black card to go on a shopping spree at Steve & Barry’s. They racked up on everything in my Starbury line and they got Sarah Jessica Parker's new line too.

I bet most people don't see stuff like this, but just go straight to things like "Oh Marbury hates Lebron he's jealous of his fame he wan't to be him blah blah".

What Marbury did for that family was great, he may say wrong things at the wrong times but he does do a lot for the public.

huh? why would you be messing around and having fun if you just lost a game? save that stuff for the locker room, or when the cameras aren't pointed directly at you.

I'm pretty sure that was before the game despite the scoreboard.

Anyway.. I have a soft spot for the Knicks for some odd reason. If I couldn't root for the Lakers then my team would probably be the Knicks. I hope they do well this season.

That was before the game, as you can tell by the warmups they have on. That clip was shown in the game recap after the game had ended. Plus, why would they have on their warmups after the game?

I thought Knicks were finally going to make some noise, but Boston just pulled out the trump card in the Big Ticket. Zeke must be pissed off as hell.

They looked great on paper. But somehow, Zeke found a new way to screw up a team's chemistry, and this time, it's all on him. Marbury turned on him faster than they fired Larry Brown. I can't seem to find that thread about how Isiah is a good GM/coach, but it is a laugher for sure. Oh, how Dolan must regret letting Larry Brown go, and giving Isiah that extension.

I can't help but think what would have happened if the Knicks had kept Larry Brown, gotten rid of Zeke and let Larry rebuild the Knicks back into a winner. Ah, What if.

1) They would probably have avoided the whole Lawsuit, saved themselves from the embarassment and good chunk of change.
2) Gotten rid of Marbury the team cancer
3) Drafted Balkman still, but at a later pick
4) Saved the cash from buying out Larry
5) Had a young team, playing the right way
6) Probably getting closer to under budget
7) Didn't have to pay Zeke and his extension

The New York Knicks are a Joke. The highest payroll in the league and all you get is a bunch of clowns, and a 7 footer(curry) who can't rebound or Block a friggin shot. This team is a Train wreck in slow motion every year, and the media can't get enough of it man10 man10 man10 And then Knick fans try to act all Stuck Up like their use to winning titles.... man10 .....PLEaSe.They're bigger Knuckleheads than their OVERpaid UNDERachievers who suit up to stink it up every night.I can understand this frustration when the Yankees underachieve, but stop it with the knicks. The Pearl and Clyde have long since retired and grown gray.Get Over Your New York Tough guy image and accept the Knicks for their lousiness.

Sad but true, they are pathetic and cannot amount up to anything. What goes on their minds when they get booed at home and owned by other teams is beyond me. I could not see myself being part of a laughing stock team.

They need a COMPLETE makeover. Someone call Oprah....

Something that was obvious even before the season started. Not sure why many thought they'd be at the top of the east. There might be talent, but there's more to success than just talent.

Dr. Phil might need 3 years to get their heads straight.

Maybe a combination of both might do the trick man12

I just heard a commercial on the radio with this guy saying something like:

"The Knicks are gonna make noise this year! We have a formidable front line! Did you hear me, Boston? FORMIDABLE FRONT LINE!"

You have it wrong, he says "You hear that Boston? Formidable? Do you even know what that means? Look it up."

He was emphasizing the word, and if Boston fans knew what it even meant, not about the front line. That would be rediculous if he emphasized the front line to the Celtics. Please get it right before more bashers charge into this thread.

Speedy, bash the Knicks all you want, because everyone does it here, but NEVER act like you know ANYTHING about Knicks fans. We act stuck up? Because we're use to winning titles? THIS IS NEW YORK BUDDY, IF YOU DON'T PLAY HARD, YOU WILL GET BOOED TO HIGH HEAVEN. Basketball and New York go hand in hand, and this crap has been going on since 2000, we've had enough. Knicks fans are the most passionate basketball fans in the world, they know the game of basketball, what do you expect us to do? Cheer because they are somewhat trying? You tell me what you would do if your team played half a** on the same court where some of the greatest players ever played. In the greatest arena in the world, and New York across your chest.

And payroll doesn't matter when you never have cap room, that was Layden's mess, Isiah added talent with what he had but what he is doing now is numbing.

And I love how people continue to crap on the Knicks players, but you all don't understand is that THEY ARE DONE WITH ALL THIS CRAP JUST LIKE THE FANS. They don't believe in Isiah anymore, and it shows in their lack of effort. They don't hustle for him, they don't go the extra mile for him, nor do they try to defend him. Isiah is the reason all this is happening. He was a moron for benching Marbury, which was unwarranted, then Marbury left. After that, Isiah asked the whole team to take a vote on if they should start Marbury, and the majority said no. What does he do? He still starts him! How do you think that makes the team feel?

I feel sorry for guys like David Lee and Nate Robinson, who really try hard. They still hustle, but the rest of the team is done. They don't see why they should try for this man.

Perhaps I should have asked for someone to clarify, but thanks for doing so.

I don't dislike the knicks. they have a talented squad, but it's gotta be next to impossible to win games with the whole isiah fiasco.

I empathize with NY Knicks fans. They have the biggest market, highest payroll, and they should at least expect something resembling a winning team. Hell, LA fans even boo the Lakers they play bad. I would boo the hell out of Isiah too if I was at the Garden. He took the franchise to a new low that I didn't think was possible. He dragged the Knicks reputation through the mud in the court system, and overpaid too many FA's. He drove out Larry Brown to save his own job, and refuses to step down so the Knicks can finally rebuild the right way.
