I love Kobe and what he did was amazing, but personally I would have voted for Durant...didn't expect that at all. _________________

Agreed, but where the hell is the option for Jason Kidd? _________________

Exactly. No love for J-Kidd. Disgusting.
My list would have gone:
1. Durant: I didn't know if he would hold his own against the creme of the crop, he sure as hell did though.
2. Kobe. Sure he won the game and hit huge clutch shots, but it's something that I've come to expect from Kobe. What impressed me most was his steal stat and his defense. they were spectacular. _________________

You have to remember, the rest of the league doesnt appreciate Kobe because they dont really watch what he does like us lakers fans do.
We come to expect this from him, while they are in awe when they seem him. |

Looks like that weight loss is helping him out a bit |

Even though Kobe's done it a million times, it hard to not still be impressed. That being said...
Kevin Durant floored me. |

laker fans are used to the kobe game winners. impressive... but not suprisingly impressive.
i was more impressed with durant... never seen him play before... even in college... and he was awesome against the best of the best in the nba. it was scary seeing how easy the game came to durant. playing against nba vets/superstars didn't phase this kid, cold blooded. _________________

Casual fans see he scored 2 points and assume he had no impact. _________________

| I would have voted for Durant... having sucked in the summer league and then doing great against NBA all stars/superstars... didn't expect it |

True, Durant was pretty suprising, but...
In the SL, he was the best player on the court most of the time and was constantly double and triple teamed.
With this team, he might arguably be one of the "worse" players on the court at any given time. With little pressure and the D not focusing on him, he was able to show his stuff. |

Damn Durant looked sick.
Are we sure Oden is going to be better than him? |
