I like the trade someone mentioned above about getting Sheed and Prince.

Lakers Trade: Lamar Odom, Jordan Farmar, Kwame Brown
Lakers Receive: Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace

Lakers New Lineup:

Fisher/Crittenton/Sasha
Kobe/Evans
Prince/Luke/Vlad
Sheed/Turiaf/Cook
Bynum/Mihm

I'd like to see the Lakers then trade Vladamir Radmanovic and Brian Cook for a more stable PF. I can only imagine a scenario where Sheed gets ejected, Turiaf gets in foul trouble and we are left with Cook at PF. Ughhh....

This is a pretty even trade talent wise but there isn't really a reason for the Pistons to do it. They are already a legitimate team in the East, why risk chemistry issues?

Thought I'd throw my hat into the Kobe trade ring:

Kobe Bryant
Chris Mihm

for

Anthony Johnson
Solomon Jones
Josh Childress
Shelden Williams
Marvin Williams
Al Horford

Heres a 4 team trade we could do to get Artest and JO with out giving up Odom. We would have a dope starting line up. But the bench would be weak.

JO /Mihm /Gasol
Lamar /Ronny
Artest /Evans /Karl
Kobe /Sasha
Fisher /J-Crit /Yue

Add 2 1st round pick for the Hawks then deal.

Would anyone trade Kobe and Odom if we got Dirk, Howard, and Artest back? Before you say no look this over.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=3~25~1726~110~1998~3197~1031~617~1016~2382~2006~609&teams=13~13~13~6~6~6~23~23~6~23~13~13&te=&cash=
We can use 2008 first round pick and M. Gasol and Yue if needed.

LA Out-
Kobe
Cook
Radman
Odom
JC
Evans

LA In-
Artest
Dirk
Howard
Abdur-Rahim
Salmons

Dallas Out-
Dirk
Howard
Harris

Dallas In-
Kobe
Cook
Radman
JC
(2008 pick and M. Gasol if needed)

Sac Out-
Artest
Abdur-Rahim
Salmons

Sac In-
Odom
Harris
Evans
(Yue or Gasol and or pick if needed)

LA Line Up-
PG Fisher/Farmar
SG Howard/Sasha/Coby/
SF Artest/Walton/Salmons
PF Dirk/Abdur-Rahim/Turiaf
C Mihm/Bynum/Brown

I think it works for all three teams. I would bet that Cuban would do it just to land Kobe. He could still sign Webber to play the PF position. Plus he gets JC and some other good role players. Sac gets Odom and Harris for Artest which is a good trade for them. We can through in a pick and Gasol or Yue to make any of these deals work.

Dallas Line Up
PG Terry/JC/Barea
SG Kobe/Buckner/Ager
SF Stackhouse/Radman/George
PF Webber/Cook/Croshere
C Dampier/Diop/Mbenga

Sac Line Up
PG Bibby/Harris/Shakur
SG Martin/Evans/Douby
SF Odom/Garcia
PF Thomas/Williams
C Miller/Moore/Hawes

You still might be saying no but I think this team is more balanced then what we have now. I don’t want Kobe to leave but it looks like that is what he wants. I think he would go to Dallas with this trade because the team does not get gutted and he knows Cuban will spend the money to make sure the team is good. We would have a good chance of going to the WCF with this team. We have 3 strong scores and great D with Artest plus we keep Bynum and if he blows up look out.

No, both Kobe and Odom have the heart of a champion. Dirk on the other hand, bends over and let's D-Wade and the GSWs rip his butt.

How could anybody argue with that analysis?

Because there is no need to analyze it. Denver wouldn't do it.

Make it a Kwame/Farmar trade at the deadline if the Nuggets are doing so hot and maybe you have something. But that one you proposed wouldn't fly.

They'd get another shooter to add in their offense, and Kwame is doing well health wise. So having another big guy would be great for them.

A fantastic scorer who can play the 1, 2, or 3 in Davis. Also a good defender in his own right.

Hassell is a great perimeter defender. He's tough as nails, plays with a lot of heart.

Are you serious?

Ricky Davis and Trenton Hassell could play forward in the triangle. Davis could play the 1, 2, or 3.

Say what you want, but a 20ppg scorer off the bench (Suns, Spurs, Mavs, Bulls... they all have that one guy off the bench that can change the game) wouldn't hurt us at all.

Sasha is useless. Cook can shoot the 3 but they already have too many gunners.
Wafer is useless. So it's Kwame for Camby deal. And Denver already turned that down. That's why they would say "no"

I like the deal for Lakers. I think they would accept. And for the Wolves, they might do it to get rid of Hassell's contract. I would add a 1st on the Lakers part though.

Kwame, Mo, 1st for Ricky, Hassell.

Kwame Brown and Mo Evans for Bobby Simmons and a re-signed Charlie Bell (starting at 3.9 million).

From our standpoint, I would do it with no regrets, but I have doubts Milwaukee would. Maybe adding Farmar so they can groom him as a backup for Williams along with other essentials.

They get rid of Simmon's contract. I'm sure they'd be interested.

I'd deal Kwame and Farmar for that same package.

I honestly think I would pull the trigger on a Sasha for Taurasi deal if I could.

Kwame Brown and Sasha Vujacic (10.8 million dollars in expiring cash) for Nick Collison and Earl Watson.

Why for the Sonics? They rid themselves of Watson, who's been struggling in Seattle. They are stocked at PG right now, so I'm sure dealing Watson would be ideal for them. I'm sure they don't like losing Collison, but they have Wilcox at the 4 and Robert Swift, their center, coming back shortly from surgery.

By doing this deal, they only have 38 million on the payroll for the upcoming season.

Why for the Lakers? Collison is a great post player with good b-ball IQ and wonderful passing skills. The could thrive as a 4 in this system putting up near double-double numbers with unselfish play. Watson brings something to the Lakers that is desperately needed - defense at the 1. Being able to put him on those quick, elite PG's would do wonders for this team.

Two moves that work

Make the trade for J'O, even though i'll mis Lamar

Lakers trade
A.Bynum
M.Evans
L.Odom

Pacers trade
J.O'neal

then

Lakers trade
K.Brown
S.Vujacic
future 2nd rd pick

Sixers trade
S.Dalembert

Our Team becomes
D.Fisher 10.1ppg 3.3apg /Jordan Farmar
K.Bryant 31.6ppg 5.4apg 5.7rpg / Javaris Crittendon / Coby Karl
L.Walton 11.4ppg 4.3apg 5.0rpg / Vlad Radmanovic
J'Oneal 19.4ppg 9.6rpg / Ronny Turiaf / Andre Patterson
S.Dalembert 10.7ppg 8.9rpg 1.9bpg / Chris Mihm / Elton Brown

All 5 starters avg double digits, your interior defense becomes one the best. You still got Vlad and Critt to score off the bench, while Jordan runs the point off the bench and Ronny and Mihm backup our bigs.

Sign-and-trade for PJ Brown.

Lakers trade: Mihm, Kwame, and maybe a first round pick

Bulls trade: Brown and Smith
