Man D down low. Amare and Howard get beat far too easy on simple pump fakes and spin moves by the other teams big men. Also, I think they need to improve on inside game, they have none. The only inside game they have is throw it to Howard for a dunk. Adding Boozer would help a lot. |
They need to get better at recognition of mismatches. They are switching pretty much everything on the perimeter on D which creates a domino effect that has the other team making a few extra passes for a wide open shot.
If they are going to switch, they need to adjust the D accordingly.
Boozer would be a GREAT addition to this team...it would be like picking up Scola to play for TeamUSA...
Howard and Amare are ok but they use athleticism and strength in the post and very little skill. A guy like Boozer or even Brand would absolute punish people in the post. |

The USA team had Brand before and he was great, practicaly unstoppable from what I saw. Maybe they didn't invite him back or most likely he didn't want to play again. I'm sure they wouldn't hold out on inviting him back because that team lost, I don't think it was his fault.
