Is there really a thread on CL about the WNBA? This is disgraceful.

Man and I was gonna make a thread about the whole WNBA season next May when the new season starts. Not just the finals.

man10 I'm just playin critter. Whatever floats your boat.

You should watch the next game. It is really entertaining to watch. Plus the fact there is no other basketball on in the summer which makes you want to watch it.

I've tried before I just couldnt do it. I do enjoy other womens sports like vollyball though. man13

That's something we both can agree on. jam2

Nothin was on, so I watched it, it was a really good game. I hope Phoenix wins it all, Detroit has a bunch of babies on their team, can't take a little contact without gettting pissed.

The only women's sport I can watch and is just as entertaining as the men's sport to me is women's tennis.

I agree, only I find women's tennis MORE entertaining than men's, the points last longer because they don't hit it as fast, there's more volleying or whatever it's called. In the men's game there are 50 aces, goes way too quick. And as mentioned I love women's volleyball, college women's volleyball. man1

It also seems like there isn't as much of a gap between the men's & women's tennis games. Obviously the men would overpower the women if they matched up head to head, but a pro tennis player of any gender has to have amazing control of their shot and excellent lateral quickness. The line isn't nearly as solid as it is in sports like basketball where it's not even remotely close.

Congrats to Phoenix as they join Sacramento as the two cities to have its WNBA team to win a championship before the NBA team ever will.

We have an "NBA Discussion" forum, but the WNBA is a separate league so it's appropriate for the "Other Sports" forum IMO.
