I'm gonna be a winner this year....not gonna get screwed over in any of the teams.....

And if I like my team enough after the draft....I might not even do any trades at all but just keep everyone I got and leave it the way it is.......

I'M NOT GETTING SCREWED OVER THIS YEAR.................

Quote:
Tier 1

1. Kobe Bryant, Lakers

Kobe is a no-brainer. He's easily the best fantasy shooting guard in the game today, and that's not really debatable. In fact, he's so much better and safer than his competition that he actually deserves to be in a tier by himself. And this is coming from somebody who's never really been a "Kobe guy".

Tier 2

2. Allen Iverson, Nuggets
3. Dwyane Wade, Heat
4. Ray Allen, Celtics
5. Joe Johnson, Hawks
6. Vince Carter, Nets
7. Tracy McGrady, Rockets
8. Michael Redd, Bucks

i love how kobe gets his own tier

respect right there jam2

I have two guys that aren't doing as well as I'd expected: Charlie Villanueva and Acie Law

Any suggestions for replacements ? (preferably the same position)

Should I drop Mike Conley? He's getting no PT and looks like he's behind Damon Stoudamire and Kyle Lowry in the depth chart.

Yes, pick up Lowry instead. He'll end up with most of the minutes.

Neither.

I'd look for a sleeper on the waiver wire like Kyle Lowry, Randy Foye, Wally Szcerbiak, or Daniel Gibson.

i just got my offer accepted of VC and ty thomas for Melo. I get Melo.

Was it a good trade. I know VC and Ty just had their best games of the season, but I think on average Melo is better. Not to mention I have a one more open roster spot now. What do you guys think.

VC > Melo, even without Ty.

That open roster spot has to turn into a player >> Tyrus Thomas for you to be ahead in that trade.

Boobie! great source of cheap 3's and points.

I need help on improving my team. Currently I'm 13th out of 14th in the league, but I'm winning my current matchup, 6-2. I've been weak with the 3 PTM category in both of my matchups so far, free throw percentage has also killed me. Lamar just came back, so I'll have to see how much he helps, here is my current team.

Yao Ming
Andre Iguodala
Emeka Okafor
Lamar Odom
Andris Biedrins
T.J. Ford
Rajon Rondo
Andrew Bogut
Paul Millsap
Jason Maxiell
Mike Conley
J.R. Smith
Bobby Simmons
Tyrus Thomas
Vladimir Radmanovic

Any advice on who I can move and who I should target would be appreciated.

Drop Conley for Boobie or Bogans. Both starting and give you a bunch of 3's.

Move one of your bigs for scorer - Okafor for Redd/Lewis.

You need more PG's. Nelson, Hinrich and Mo Williams have gotten off to really slow starts. See if you can get them below value in a trade.

Stephen Jackson is coming back soon. See if you can trade for him from an impatient owner.

There has to be something better than Conley, Simmons or JR Smith on waivers. None of those guys should be on a roster.

Is Ryan Gomes available? I'd rather have him than any of those 3.

Dump Conley, JR Smith, and probably Rad. Maxiell and Simmons are borderline but might grow into something. I realize that's the end of your squad but those first three shouldn't be on any team.

Otherwise, I love your wings in Iggy and Odom, your Bigs in Yao, Okafor, and Biedrins, but it seems like you've got more multiple category utility players and not enough scorers.

Thanks guys. Mojo, who do you think I'd be able to move for SJax in a fair deal?

Gibson, Gomes nor Bogans are on the waivers list but Foye, Herrman, Murphy, Frye, Swift, Thornton, Dampier, Atkins, Najera, Nesterovic, Duhon, Finley, Stevenson, Marshall, Daniels, Harpring, Blake, James Jones & Daniels are all avaialble.

CB - any suggestions for scorers I can get other than Rashard or Redd, without trading away Iguodala or Yao?

I'd grab Foye for sure and probably Blake and see if those two come through for you. Blake is averaging 8.5 assists the last two games and Foye looked like a breakout candidate in the summer league (scoring, treys and assists). Try to get Kyle Lowry too.

As for trading for scorers, you may not have to play that hand yet, especially if Foye comes in and starts scoring 18-20 a night. Yao and Iggy are probably untouchables for you because they aleady score and contribute in so many other categories.

Keep an eye on Atkins' progress from the injury too, because he's a sleeper candidate in Denver once healthy and if starting (treys and assists).

Bogut's the only one on your team that would work in a 1 for 1 for SJax. After that, you'd have to work on a package deal.

Low-end scorers that you might be able to get a little cheaper include:

Crawford, Turkuglo, Gay, Webster, Brewer, Rip.

Don't drop Krstic...once he gets his legs he'll be solid again. Nocioni has always been a borderline fantasy free agent, so I wouldn't lose sleep over dropping him for someone else.

I'm about to drop Alonzo Mourning. Pick up Theo Ratliff or Sean Williams. Ratliff is playing better now, but Williams has more upside.

I read that Nocioni MIGHT get the start as the Bull's want to shake things up after their lackluster start. Just something to think about.

no one is getting ripped off IMO.

i like the dirk side better... because dirk is being bought low right in that deal.

later on in the season... no way is that package gonna get you dirk + wallace.

i've seen MUCH worse trades.
