If it's Paul + Granger for Williams and Wilcox - I would have to veto it as well...
Link - you are getting screwed every year. May be you should try and hold on to the players and think about it.
How cold you possibly view that trade as the beneficial to you? The best case scenario it is a lateral move for you...

Deron and Paul are about even.
So it comes down to Wilcox vs. Granger?
Wilcox has higher fg%, rebounds better.
Granger only has ppg on Wilcox that's it.
LL I think wants a big and needs one. He doesn't need Granger.
So a 14-7 guy vs. a 14-4 guy.. who do you take? The trade is not bad at all.

Whatever you guys want. I'm not going to request the veto because it looks fine to me.
I'm working on the categories from FG% to like Rebounds and maybe assits.
This deal helps me get better in all these categories a little more. I don't think I am going to do any other trades unless something really good comes around.
Deron is starting for the Jazz and did really well last year....he helped them get to the playoffs. Paul is also good, he starts and he's out in New Orleans....he helped almost get them to the playoffs. Both have a nice cast around them that got better and more help.
Then the downside is Granger starts and Wilcox doesn't. Yet if it was the same senerio last year....if you look. Wilcox got more points and more rebounds and a couple other things. So the trade is benefital.
If you guys don't like....you guys go around and talk about a veto....I'M NOT GOING TO REQUEST A VETO BECAUSE I KNEW A LOR MORE OF WHAT I WAS DOING IN THIS DEAL THIS TIME.....
Oh yeah and a friend of mine said to tell you guys that this is my team and I can do what I want. I kinda agree with him but I don't wanna sound all snotty about it so that is why I am saying he said it.
Like I said....do what you want. Veto it or let it go. Don't care.
I really wish Slimjim didn't trade Okur because that deal was a better deal than this but it didn't work out. So oh well.
I'M NOT GOING TO GET SCREWED THIS YEAR.....I'M GOING TO COMMITTE MORE TO THIS AND ACTUALLY MAKE SURE I GET TO THE HIGH PART OF THE PLAYOFFS AND COMPETE AND WIN.

He may be maxed out on a good team but on rebuilding team? There is Durant who is the #1 option. And the #2 option is up for grabs between Green and Wilcox. Just saying.

As I said - I DON'T VETO IT ( do we even have the rights to do so? ), but I wouldn't do it...

Ok according to the stats of both teams. My current team and the team I would have after the trade.
My team after the deal goes in:
FG% goes up .006%
FT% goes down .011%
3PTM goes down 1.9 a game
PTS goes up 10 ppg
REB goes up 16 rpg
AST goes up 9 apg
ST goes down 2 spg
and BLK goes down 1 bpg
So yeah.....it is a lateral trade. I gain a little (in FG%, PTS, REBS, AND AST) and I lose a little (in FT%, 3PTM, ST, AND BLKS).
So but whatever we wanna do. If everyone doesn't like the deal and wants to veto it....I mean Zen you weren't the only one to say something....then everyone do a vote of if you all want it not to go through and then if you guys wanna veto it....go ahead and do so....I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO VETO MY TRADE....and if you don't....then Critter and I get buisness done and go about our day.
Like I said.....I don't care one way or another and running the STATS really makes me just not mind one way or another....I mean I like the deal still but if you guys wanna cancel it....then decide on it with all the other players of this league and go with what you want. I'm not going to vote yea or nay though so........

I want to apologize on my behalf and may be on Slim's....
By arguing against the trade I had in mind your best interests, since as long as everybody is competitive the league is much more interesting...
But by doing so I may have assumed several things - that was wrong to do on my part. I apologize for that... I am in no position to be teaching or tutoring anyone, you included...
Again, and I mean all the above, I have no objections to this trade for ethical reasons and not for fantasy-basketball related reasons.

But if you guys want to veto it then go do it. But I don't know why you would. Its not like its that one-sided at all. Its a fair trade.
For example - why veto this trade when you can veto a trade that one team receives an all-star in Okur for a bench player in Barbosa. I am not saying veto it at all, just an example.
But whatever you guys want.

You don't have to apologize. I don't blame you guys for doing that and maybe this trade is a little hurtful in some way. If it is then so be it. It's fine if you guys wanna say that trade is bad and want to veto a trade and everything. Most of the times I agree with you guys on it after people explain it a little more to me....however on this trade I looked at it deeply and saw that I was getting a good deal, lateral, but a good deal. So I took the trade because I wanted it.
Again if you guys wanna question it and veto it......go right ahead because I will gladly let you guys do so. And you don't need to apologize at all. You are looking out for me and the league and I respect that. Go ahead and do that all the time on any other trades I make and I'm cool with that. Just this one time I don't agree with you guys and like this deal so I'm cool with letting it go through.
So thanks for the concern and keep doing it because it is totally cool with me and I can't wait for this year and to give this a shot at being really competitive in this league. And if it doesn't work....I got 3 other leagues I can try and compete harder in to make up for this one.

If you guys wanna veto it....go ahead and veto it....and I'll gladly go with vetoing it.
But realize that once this deal is vetoed.....I am so fricken keeping everyone and not trading anyone to anyone....and I am going to make sure I can work it out to win this year.

I don't usually like to veto trades unless they are incredibly lopsided.

I normally am not a fan of vetoing deals, but in this case it takes out one team and it builds up possibly the already strongest team in the league.

I still think it is cool but other people don't. I am cool with it really one way or another. But people wanna veto it so I'll go wit vetoing it.
But yeah like you said....it's what everyone thinks.
