Hmm, prediction: Lakers go 10-0 TWICE during the season and finish up the season at a cool 55-29. Also, no injuries!

My season prediction?

We play like a veteran Phil Jackson team. We will do alright during the 1st half of the season, and really turn it up after the All-Star break, posting one of the best records for second half of the season. Kobe is Kobe, Lamar makes an All-Star team. Bynum continues in his preseason play and the Lakers have a good season. Final Record: 49-33 (#5 seed). We play and beat the Spurs in the first round.

Favorite Lakers moment: Unfortunately I have never been able to make it to a Lakers game, but on TV it was Game 4 vs the Suns in the first round. I've watched that 4th quarter + OT on DVD at least 60 times since it's happened. One of the most exciting games I've ever wached.

Cool idea. I hope we're able to at least make the 2nd round this year.

Here's to a smooth and less drama-filled season. beer1

I'm in jam2

Prediction: Start out VERY SLOW, but click in 2-3 months and finish off the season strong with 45-48 wins.

Favorite Laker moments: Kobes 2 buzzer beaters against the blazers a few seasons back, playoff runs in the shaq-kobe era jam2

This is pretty cool. I'm in!

Prediction: We'll end up with 50 wins, and a second round exit

Favorite Moment: One of them is when Nick the Quick would do his little boxing act. I loved that.

Who's Rookie cards are there!?

If it's Kobe I'm all in....but if not....I guess I am still all in since I am posting here.

Horry 2002 WCF Game 4 Best Buzzer-Beater!!!!!!!! Fisher's 0.04 shot is in a tie with it but more in the #2 spot.

KOBE WILL STAY AND I AM GLAD PEOPLE ARE PROVING TO HIM THAT WE WANT HIM HERE AND THAT THIS IS HIS CITY AND EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

sweet contest!

westcoast21

Prediction for the season:

With no one expecting much out of the Lakers this season, they will quietly become a top 5 team in the west.

They will go 51 - 31, and make some noise in the playoffs

Rookie cards FTW!

Lakers will win 49 games, get the 6 seed in the West and make the second round.

Kobe Karl is a little nervous, he will be ok once he pulls his socks up.

Count me in.

Lamar Odom comes up big this year, Bynum shows improvement, Kobe is Kobe, Turiaf has a huge impact, and Vlad surprises everyone as the Lakers make it to the WCF.
