a loss but I want to see a competetive team that fights.
I don´t want to see us getting dunked by Stoudemire, can´t stand his stupid smile...

| As long as we can stay competitive I won't mind a loss. We're still missing Odom so I'm not gonna get down on us for these early season losses. I would much rather we peak later in the season than early on. |

I don't fear the Suns. They take us for granted and we hate them. We beat them opening night last year without Kobe, I think we can beat them this year without Odom.
Oh wait it's AT Phoenix? Nevermind, refs won't give us any calls, Kobe will get fouled repeatedly by Raja Bell and they'll call charges on Kobe because Raja will flop. I still say we keep it close though. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

Suns - 101
Lakers 83
The calls will be horrible and Kobe will be left to fend for himself. _________________

If the team could play like they did today (I mean defense), although we may not prevail, but the game should be entertaining to watch. _________________

After the excitement of the last game I'm ready for this one. It might end badly but I'm interested in seeing how the team bounces back. _________________

How I still notice refs give Kobe no love. Although he went to the stripe 23 times, he was hit way more then that. I swear Wade wouldve had about 35 free throws.
I expect a hard battle fought, probably wont win but I WANT THEM TO BATTLE AND NOT JUST GIVE UP!!!!

^^ I believe it was 28 times for a career high in ft attempts
Kobe's wrist feels better, scores 40 points, and Lakers get the W

We need that fire to stay in the game. Upset by the Lakers by 1. _________________

To tell you guys the truth, I think Lakers might win this one, hopefully they really bounce back from the last game, and take the fire they had in the last 1:36 and carry it on through out this game...
Hopefully they do good through out all 4 quarters, instead of doing good in the first quarter and last 1:36.
I live in Arizona too...and if Phoenix wins, everyone in high school knows I'm a Laker fan... |

Lakers loss unless Kobe's 100% or Odom's back (both very massive IFs).
Kobe goes for 43 on less than 50% shooting, calls will be horrendous, Raja will flop.

| Unless Odom comes back, we getting a L on this one. It sucks, but I sense a blowout by halftime. We just don't have that kind of speed to guard this Suns team. We were exposed in the GS preseason games. If Kobe goes for 60+, we might have a chance. |

I'm getting ready for the first Suns game of the season. That's tonight against the Sonics.I'm really curious to see what they can do.
But if it's how I think it is - we're going to get s.p.a.n.k.e.d.
Hard.
Kobe 36+ points.
Farmar will play well I think.
Bunum's too slow for this.
We have no Lamar, so Matrix is going to punish us too.
hmm... what else do we have? Ronny will come out with a lot of energy, but he's probably going to pick up some quick fouls against Amare.
Luke on Diaw. Huh-uh.
I don't see how we can win this. Good game by Kobe, nice scoring by Fish and Walton maybe; someone else has to show up. I mean - really show up. _________________

Call me crazy, but Bynum may be the difference in this game. If they can establish him down low, I really think that will help.
I'd have a hell of a lot more confidence in us if Odom was playing. |

i'm with you kobe329 on the cook thingy.. but bynum for 18 is possible, but reaching/asking a lot imo.. kobe 50? at staples i'd say yes.. but at phoenix with flopper raja and the refs on their side, i'm not too sure... _________________ .
