fyi I have submitted your editorials (http://www.clublakers.com/lakers/editorials/) to Google for News Syndication.
They will be manually reviewed for approval (within the next week I'm guessing), so please be sure all new content that is submitted to Editorials is unique (not copy/paste from other news) and quality.
I'll look into the auto-music on the home page right now...
Bloggers, please stop the flame war on the front page, it makes us look a little silly. If anyone can post a few legit blogs to sweep those down, that would be great.

Congratulations Editorial writers, you have been approved for Google News syndication.
I had to perform a massive URL rewrite to get it to work, but it all appears to be functioning properly now.
Google's bots should be here within the next few days to start spidering www.clublakers.com/lakers/editorials/ and publishing your work for Lakers news searches (and related topics).
To improve your chance of getting published on Google news, try to use keywords in your Headline and article that people might search for.
Thanks to everyone for the extra effort -- it looks great!
