Lakers have been pretty horrible in Indiana in the last few years...

Indy is very vulnerable tho...we have to come out firing early to not even let them believe that they have a chance.

This is a trap game. I see us winning though with our great offense and defense.

i think in the fourth we should throw mihm and bynum in. mihm should guard JO and it should create some good mismatches inside. indy isn't really known for running, so we don't have to worry about that. hopefully ronny will be able to recover in time to guard JO.

I cant remember the last time Kobe had two poor shooting games in a row and didnt come out HOT for the next game.

Kobe drops 35, our bench plays solid, we win BIG.

Go Lakers jam2

As mentioned before, Granger might hurt us.
We'll have to make sure that neither him nor Dunleavy (25 points last game) is able to explode like Peja did against us earlier.

Also, Tinsley must under no circumstance be allowed to dish out 13 assists as he did against the Jazz. Just turn him into a scorer (well, misser, preferably), our last victory against Phoenix should serve as a good example (only 3 assists for Nash, very nice).

We do those two things and I guess our little road trip starts with a nice, firm W.

Go Lakers! jam2

MASSACRE'S MATCHUPS - LA LAKERS (6-3) @ IND PACERS (4-6) [GAME 10]

Coming In:

Los Angeles comes into tonight's game with the indiana Pacers 3 games above .500 with a 6-3 record. Currently riding a 3 game winning streak featuring vicories over Detroit, Chicago & Houston. Los Angeles will look to make it 4 against Indiana tonight. The last time these two teams met, Indiana took the victory, 95-84, behind the defense of Danny Granger, who held Kobe Bryant to 22 points, but on 7-25 shooting.

Bryant hasn't scored over 30 points in six consecutive games, but the Lakers are averaging 104 points per contest through 9 games, with major contributions coming from the bench.

"Our guys are really jelling," said Bryant, who is 12-for-34 from the field over the last two games. "It's great for us because it's a long season. I think they have great chemistry, and they've worked really hard, as we all do."

The Lakers will be without Kwame Brown for another stint this early into the season. Brown is out indefinitely with a left knee sprain. The Lakers will certainly miss his post prescense, especially on the defensive end. Brown's injury will increase the minutes Andrew Bynum will receive. Bynum has averaged 10.4 PPG & 9.7 RPG for Los Angeles this season in less than 24 minutes per game.

Los Angeles has split the season series with Indiana for four consecutive seasons, but have lost their last 3 to the Pacers when visiting Indiana.

Massacre's Matchup:

Lamar Odom, Los Angeles Lakers - Lamar's A game will be needed for Los Angeles once again. Indiana has Granger on the other end, who has given LA fits in the past, his defense will be a key factor in the outcome of this ballgame. Predicted stats: 19 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists.

Danny Granger, Indiana Pacers Granger is averaging nearly 14 points per contest against Los Angeles, but Indiana will need him to be on target to keep it close with the current play of Jermaine O'Neal. Predicted stats: 21 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals.

Darkhorse matchup: Indiana's defense on Kobe Bryant was shut down by Granger the last time the Lakers visited Indiana.

I tried it before, it doesn't work for me. The player opens, it connects, then says ready. I click play and nothing happens. Anyone know what the problem is?
