Bucks also played tonight, won but went down the wire with the Cavs. Hopefully they are rusty from playing a hard fought game.

These are the type of games I fear the most. Win a game handily and come out sluggish with overconfidence the next and lose it. Hopefully these guys prove me wrong.

I hear you. I don't know why, maybe it's the false confidence the Lakers are instilling in me or the optimist in me speaking, but I don't see us losing this game. Then again, I think we're going to win coming into every game.

What can I say?

Win.

Stop Redd, (Kobe can do it this season), and it's an easy win.

kobe remembers last year when redd lit him up for 45....

he wont let that happen...the key will be matching their bench....they got charlie V, bobby simmons and charlie bell off the bench....walton, farmar and co. will need to hold down the fort once again...their 2nd unit is strong...and i believe the bucks have won 4 straight as well....so they're not as bad as pppl make them out to be...in fact, they have a good chance of making the playoffs this year....

Agreed, and im liking our chances. Kobe hasn't got lit up this year with his renewed devotion to defense. The only elite scorer he's faces though so far has been T-mac.

Show em who's gonna be the DPOY kobe jam2

Kobe got some good rest last night, and he's in great condition.

Redd just came off a close game between LeBron and the Cav's. I don't think he has fully rested yet.

Keys to the game:

OFFENSE

1. The Bucks most likely will double Kobe, so the Lakers must hit their open shots.

2. Quick pace. I love the new pace the Lakers are playing at and their ability to switch in between the two. This team doesn't look defensively quick or strong, so scoring in transition shouldn't be a problem.

3. Keep turnovers to a low. Efficient passing, Laker's have made mistakes with overpassing, but it's okay. We do much better (a la the Indiana game) when we don't.

DEFENSE

1. Keep Redd from shooting outside, make him drive. Basically, all the Bucks are perimeter players with exception to Bogut.

2. No second chance points. Must get those defensive rebounds.

3. Keep up the good work on the pick and roll defense. Still our weakness I believe, but we're getting better and our improvements show.

Damn I have to work all tonight and will miss the whole game. I am mad just because I know were going to see Kobe play some great defense tonight and I won't get to see it.

And the highlights are never just on how the real game went.
