Now watch ... not a SINGLE thread in the Lakers Discussion forum on how bad the refereeing was.

It'll all be about how great Kobe is. How great Vlad is, etc.

Ahhhh .... sometimes you just gotta smirk. This was the best victory by FAR of the season, at least for me.

I really hope someone musters up the effort to get all the clips from this game that showcased bad reffing (even if they were Lakers ones). I'm really disappointed in the refs. They're either vision-impaired, corrupt or extremely naive.

Yeah Ariza played some nice D on AI. Glad to see Phil giving him some minutes. I don't see why Luke should ever step another foot on the court.

I agree 110%. This was a great victory. The type that brings a VERY young team together.

That's an amazing confidence booster.

And Bynum, even thought he only had 2 points and 3 rebs, he really did great in the closing minutes. He had that alley-opp from Bryant when the score was neck-and-neck, and he also had that amazing block on Carmelo.

I think Bynum's dunk is going to be the dunk of the night!

Funny how Kobe gets no credit for shutting Iverson down in the fourth.

"Iverson got tired"

"The Lakers contained him"

Kobe manned up and shut him down while scoring 12 in the fourth, period. No respect. disagree

Yeah and it was definitely nice to see Kobe trust him with the alley-oop in that situation.

Every single night, we need to have balanced scoring, if we have one guy scoring 50+ (Kobe), it doesn't bring our team closer, and it doesn't always win us games (look at Denver). When we have balanced scoring, everyone feels confident and good and they think they did something to help the team out. It brings everyone closer.

Kobe and Ariza combined for a great defensive effort on Iverson.
