Going to be an epic game. Duncan will mostly likely be back for this one. Putting Ariza on Ginobili may be a wise idea. Could be my false hope talking, but I think we got this one. Go Lakers!

That Finley 3 pointer last year was the start of the end for the Lakers...we NEVER recovered from that loss and lost 27 of the next 41 games....

I expect a loss, how could I not? but the Lakers have shown the ability to rise up to the challenge from time to time...so its not impossible to win but it will be very tough...we have no answer to stop their 3 point shooting or Tony Parker / Manu Ginobili...

I have been looking at the schedule, particularly the next 5 games:

12/13 SA 10:30pm
12/14 @GS 10:30pm
12/16 LAC 9:30pm
12/18 @CHI 8:30pm
12/20 @CLE 8:00pm

And I think if we can get past the Spurs on Thursday, we could go on a really nice streak. Now I know I shouldn't get carried away here and take 1 game at a time, and I usually do that. But I can't help to look at the schedule and think about the streak we could do if we come away clean against the Spurs. Like my friend Woody Paige always says "Guys gotta look at the schedule"

*We could possible have a 7 game winning streak going into Cleveland, I'm just excited that's all*

As for the real game coming up I believe and know the Lakers can come threw and play big. I am hoping and praying that for some mysterious reason Timmy will still be out, but highly unlikely. I totally 100% percent agree with everyone so far in that Ariza if not Kobe should guard Manu. I CAN'T WAIT

I'm wondering whether Kobe will have a go on Parker?

Although Parker is lightning quick, I think Bryant can handle him in the half court set.

If TD's not playing, i hope we feed Bynum in the post, all night.

Can't wait for this game, I really think that if kobe and a couple other guys get off to a good start we can balance things off..

Id like for us to attack and try and get them in the penalty early so we can try and spread the floor some when the ball gets swung from the wing. The high pick and roll will be important for us to execute in this game, especially for kobe using screens.

Defensively, just keep guys between your legs if at all possible. And when tony enters the paint never let it happen without backup.

I hope the spurs don't shoot lights out again like the last game. Especially Bonner, are you kidding me?

why not try ariza on parker? when he was guarding AI he seemed to have a decent idea of how much space to give and use his length. Kobe or Ariza should be guarding Parker for most of the game. fisher could guard bowen at times too.

i think best way for the team is to just be active AWAY from the ball. keep moving around and either you'll get a free shot or a dumb foul on the spurs, if we can keep parker or ginobli in foul trouble for most of the game, we should be able to lead the game or at least keep it close until the final moments... just a thought.

It's awesome. We finally get some rest. We've played the second most back-2-backs in the L. I'm loving the rest days.

this game will be tough...can we get anybody2stop tony parker without 2much fouls?denying him2drive 2do basket?
we might have a match up for ginobili, that will be kobe of coz...
what bout duncan?can turiaf or bynum stay with him?
if duncan gets double team he will surely kick out2their shooters outside.for ginobile he most likely will pump fake&DRIVE MOST OF THE TIME.so must keep him out of the middle lane. ball2

Duncan is expected to play which means that this an opportunity for Bynum to showcase to the world (via TNT) that he's legit.

^^^ Why does every game have to be Kobe scoring 40+ points?

We have Bynum on the team, let him get touches.
