I think if you already have guys who contribute 3PT's regularly, and you have guys working overtime to shore up the FT% that Howard will most definitely bring down, then that trade actually was a good one in my opinion.

lebron/duncan/richardson.

personally... i stay away from howard...

I have not made many trades this year..

traded Melo for Jason Terry and J-Rich..J-Rich has been a disappointment but still I would do that trade.

second trade I traded Bosh and Sean Williams for G-Wallace, Monta Ellis and Andrew Bynum...and I would pull the trigger today as well...exactly the day I traded him Ellis had 30 points and was back in the starting lineup lol
