Gotta be careful with this one you dont wanna go in to over-confident but then again Lakers lost to this squad couple weeks age so they will probaly come out hungry

Kobe should have a good game he usually goes off on the jazz at home

The Jazz are 2-9 in their last 11 games (9 road games)

Since we lost to the Jazz a few weeks ago, the two teams have gone in opposite directions. Jazz 3-9 and Lakers 9-3

I expect to win at home, but I still think the Jazz are always going to be tough. I predict a close game throughout, with the Lakers pulling away in 4th

We have to be hungry for this win, after that blow-out at Utah (and don't forget the fans booing Fisher)...the Jazz are 6-12 at road, let's make it 6-13.

Okur is returning, so it should be interesting for the Lakers nonetheless.

Okur plays very bad this year. If he returns he can't make a threat for us. Bynum can defend him easily. Deron is the main factor, I think.

I'm not worried about his inside game.

The concern with Okur is that he will stretch the defense and bring Bynum out onto the perimeter.

However, I think they'll play Lamar or Kwame (if healthy) on Okur and have Bynum and his length guard Boozer down low.

Okur drawing out Bynum to the 3 Point Line isn't very good since we need someone in the paint for some help defense on Deron's penetration and Boozer's rebounding.

I don't want Kobe to score 50, I want every single Laker that plays to score, an evenly balanced game all around.

I def think that Lamar should be on Okur and not AB

what we should be worried about is Deron W. He is goning to cause lots problems for us and last time we played he was killing Fish all night long. Cant let that happen again

We also need to control the glass. Keep AK47 and Milasp to their season averages and we should be able to put this one away

Lets go Lakers jam2

Give the ball to Andrew, Utah has NO interior defenders. An inside attack, much like we used against Phoenix will get the job done here. Deron Williams' dribble pentration is still an issue, however. Let's hope Bynum can stay out of foul trouble, his ability to alter shots inside will be key. He'll be needed on both ends of the floor for this one.

LA takes a tightly contested game. Our positives are outweighing our negatives right now.

Key Injuries for the Jazz:

None to my knowledge

Current Record/ Streak:

16-14 (3th place in their division, 9th best in the East, and 14 best in the League)

Won 1

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Season Series:

Tied: 1-1

Key Matchups for the game:

1. Deron Williams vs. our PGs. He'll be the main factor. This guy has played great in the last 2 games: 61 points, 24/42 shooting. He gave Fisher a really bad time last game. We will need to defend him and make him work on D himself.

Last month, we played the Jazz with Boozer and Okur out and got beat up. Before that, the Jazz had both, and we took them out. We've been playing great, so far. Whereas, the Jazz haven't really been doing well this month (4-9 in their last 13 games, 9 which have been on the road). However, we can't be so sure of ourselves, because the Jazz are very capable of defeating us. So, we'll need to stop penetration and control the paint for 48 minutes. Just like in the last Phoenix game, we'll have to give the ball to Bynum so he can attack inside. Utah does have decent size, however.

The Jazz matchup well with us on paper. We'll be at home, so hopefully we can leave the night with a victory in our hands, making it our 4th win in a row.

Key Note: With the win against the Suns, Phil got his 937th win. He trails Red Auerbach who was 938 wins. If he wins this game, he'll tied Auerbach for 7 all-time in career wins.
