Trade Radman to Milwaukee for Jake Voskul and Charlie Villanueva.

Lakers does this to shore up the frontcourt.

Lakers get a Versatile PF in Charlie V. He can come in behind LO and we wouldn't lose anything. He plays a similar game as LO so but I think he shoots better from the outside. And with the injury problems that we had last year after the All Star break, I think it would be good to have a player like Charlie V as a backup.

Also, Lakers get Jake Voskul as a back up to Kwame. Because of Kwame and Mihm's injury problems, it would be good to have another serviceable center just in case.

Milwaukee does this because, they have great scoring from their guards( Redd, Williams, and Bell) decent inside play from Bogut and Yi but their glaring weakness is at the SF spot. Simmons hasn't done anything since he signed the big contract. I can see Radmanovich playing a similar role as Peja does in New Orleans. Mostly as a spot up shooter.

If we have to throw in a pick or two to make Milwaukee happy.

With our team playing so well right now, all we need to do is add complimentary players to provide more even more depth and reliability from our already good bench. I don't think we should disrupt the chemistry by trying to bring a high dollar player ie. Kidd. If we trade for a player like that, we would need to get rid of most of our bench guys to make the salaries work. I think that would not help us in our quest to get into the finals.

Key is to strengthen our bench with young, athletic, versatile players, like we did when we got rid of cookie for Ariza. mhihi

Charlie V's scoring average is higher than his IQ(basketball IQ) and Jakes contract is worse than Vlads. Vlad provides more of what we need than charlie v.

Jake's contract expires at the end of this year, and Vlad won't get much playing time behing Ariza and Walton at the SF spot. And he really can't play the PF position, so we'll just be paying him to sit the pine. Where as with Charlie V, we can play him behind LO and have Turiaf back up Bynum as well as play PF.

Come playoff time, we will need as many PF as we can get to body up against the likes of Amare and Timmy.

No chance of Milwaukee doing this.

A rookie contract who is worth a 1st round pick and an expiring for Vlad?

Not a chance.

Dude, there's no way in hell Milwaukee would pull this off. Villanueva only lost playing time because of Yi; on any other team he would be a legitimate starter. Radman is a decent role player at best, and that is if he is on a team he fits in. Plus, Villy has upside and they wouldn't let him go without getting at least some picks in exchange.
