Toronto sends in Jamario Moon

In exchange for

Jordan Farmar....

Would You guys do this trade???

I dont know if its necessarily a good trade for the lakers Jamario Moon has been compared to scottie cus of his defense and athleticism at the same time we have luke/Ariza but if we can somehow package Walton then we have two lockdown defenders to help out kobe....

Raptors say they need a point guard... COlangelo has said in the past weeks that he is looking despite TJ Ford getting better....And there is no guarantee that jose calderon is a lock to stay with the raptors....

Why i might consider this is because i feel point guards are a dime a dozen in the NBA and it might be easy to get a servicable one with the MLE....

WTF? That's like giving away a first rounder for free. Jordan Farmar has improved so much that he's become part of the core of this team. Jamario Moon is a 27 year old rookie that is barely proving he belongs in the NBA. Jamario doesn't really bring much to the table when you consider that we already have Ariza, even with his injury.

he is a free agent to me i want to sign him up again hell yeah! But my thing is have 2 athletic defenders! imagine against the spurs or suns it will come in handy rather than having Luke who is not so good on D and is streaky as hell....

DOnt get me wrong guys i love Farmar, but IMO i think pgs come in a dime a dozen and at this point he has shown strides and will get better, but i dont think he has star potential so why not get a lock down defender? Plus we have a PG prospect who as a rookie is taking people off the dribble and seems to create match up problems as he looks to post smaller pgs up!

While you are right in regards of Farmar Vs Critt, trading him to duplicate another skill set off the bench is just, well, stupid. I mean - try and move Farmar for a 4 in this case. Another athletic defender swing man - huh no.

Farmar is great. Keep him in LA.......
just get rid of Walton and Brown....I would love to see the two of them leave the NBA.
