These are 2 trades that I think would help what do you think and which one do you think is better?
LA and NJ Trade

LA and Memphis

agreed...but we are giving up WAY too much...

Odom, Luke, Kwame and Crittenton for Gasol and Miller?????? only if the Grizzlies throw in Conley and Gay as well....

we are giving up the currently best front court in the NBA...

I Disagree. If Memphis is willing to make this trade, I say we jump all over it and give the Griz a big kiss on the lips.

This trade would solidify us as contenders for years to come.

We would have the 3 point shooter that we have always needed in Miller and a Legit PF to play alongside with Bynum.

What do we give up? Luke Walton...injured player who is a good role player off the bench, but thinks of himself as a starter. Kwame "no hands" Brown..Mbenga has shown more during the 10 day contract than Kwame has shown during his stay in the league. LO who is a good player and a great 3rd/4th option, but hasn't shown the mental toughness to do anything when a player needs to step up and show the killer instinct. The only player I think people would hate to see go would be Crit. I see a lot of Caron butler in him. When Caron was on our team he defered a lot, but showed glimpses of what he can do. And I think Crit will be a great player in this league.

Our new Lineup:

PG: Fish/Farmar
SG: Kobe/Miller
SF: Miller/Ariza
PF: Pau/Turiaf
C Bynum/Mbenga

Until Ariza and Bynum comes back, we can start Turiaf at C and have Mbenga back him. Also Mihm should be on his way back soon.

If this deal came up, the Lakers would be fools to turn it down. Memphis would probably want more for Pau and Miller. The only two useful player in that deal would be LO and Crit. Kwame is a useful contract , nothing more, and Luke would never leave the pine under any system other than Daddy Phil's. Chicago's talent pool would likely trump ours.

By some miracle this deal goes, I see another ring in kobe's future for the next three years. Pau and Miller are the types of players to put around kobe not Brown and Luke.
