that's terrible....then there is too much scoring...i wouldn't touch vince...his contract is 6 years too....but he isn't worth anything.....i'd pretty much HAAAATTEEE to have vince on this team _________________ Can't mess with a squad that got screwed out of 1 game in the finals and was 2 games away (technically should have been 1 game away) from an NBA title THAT ADDS THIS in 08-09

Odom and Farmar for Carter?
How about no?
I would not trade Odom alone for Carter's nuclear contract. And I'm sure Mitch would not do it either. And Farmar... he's our future PG. We traded Critt, so Farmar will be re-signed. And he's doing a good job for us, he'll only get better.
What a joke, man! Odom's expiring contract will be huge next year. HUGE! _________________

Vince Carter a chucker and selfish on offense?
So is Artest, even though he is a great defender. He disrupts the offense and likes to dribble and run isolation plays for himself while the other four guys stand around watching him, |

Imagine we keep Odoms expiring contract and another superstar wants out next year... a SF... like hmmm Gerald Wallace! and the Bobcast want an expiring, we would have a 14 million expiring to dangle... much better than Kwames 9. _________________ - Scuse me while I kiss the sky! |

If we want a SF - it's a Battier-type player.
Not a chucker. We already have shooters. _________________

^ Are you serious? Vince does not suck, he is a great player and shooter but does not fit this team at all.
We dont need another scorer, plus i wouldnt want to give up our Point Guard pf the future for another scorer. Also I would rather keep Odom for the moment and see how he plays with this big lineup and also as a 3rd/4th option. Plus his rebounding and passing skills will help the Lakers even more with the addition of Gasol _________________ http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j171/ToroGraphics/Sigs/Rydah.jpg

C - Andrew Bynum (At this improvement pace, next year he would be beastley!)
PF - Pau Gasol (PAU!)
SF - LeBron James
SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - Derek Fisher
LOL thats crazy, I think even Nash would take a pay cut and the vet minimum to play on this team.... crazy! _________________ - Scuse me while I kiss the sky! |

there is no way on earth the lakers should/would do that. Odom by himself is worth more then Wince Harder. Odom may never be worth more then 2/3rds of his potential, but at least he trys. Plays no defense
Volume shooter
Inconsistent 3pt shot
I'd prefer to let Odom expire and start Vladrad or Ariza. _________________
