LOL
Carter is worth Odom and it's not even close. The only reason I say NO this trade is because he doesn't solve any of our remaining needs. He's a scorer that needs the ball to be effective. The Lakers don't need any more ball dominant players. |

| noouh i would never do this trade. VC has bad attitude and he just takes shots like a maniac. LO is needed more to this current team that we have. Farmar? Giving up Farmar? Are you crazy? In 2 years this guy is our starter...why would we give him up?? I think this is bs like most trade rumors. Mitch isnt that dumb. And even if he was...Buss would never let him pull it. |

naw.. we need a rebounder .. lamar can play the 4 until drew gets back .. then he can go to the 3..
other teams can say goodbye to 2nd chance points when they play against us |

wow when I first saw this thread I was like OMG the guy with no passion.
Whatever happened to Carter, the guy has given up on playing. Time to Retire Carter. _________________ There are so many emotions at the end of the season, nobody likes to talk about it. VC can score while Odom cannot. But look at both of their contracts. Odom is an expiring that could be used to net better players whereas VC is only going to get older and more expensive. VC's contract is almost as toxic as Shaq's right now. |

oh heeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllll no
hes knees are shot and he just signed a monster contract
probably the most least likely deal to happen period
we have more of a chance getting chris bosh or lebron james than vince carter simply because buss wont even allow conversations |

Ever since he got his first major injury to his knees (when he was still a Raptor) all that fire disappeared.
This guy used to be amazing during his early years with the Raptors. This guy electrified not only Toronto but the entire Canadian NBA fan base. But ever since his knee injury... well, y'all know the story.
The only consolation I can give him? At least he made it to the 2nd round as opposed to his cousin T-Mac. _________________ A legendary day (81 points) - Jan. 22, 2006 vs. Raptors.

| Hell no in a trade. If he wants to come here at the vets mininum I might consider but I rather have Artest than Carter. We have no offensive issues. |

We can do a lot better with Odom's 14 mil expiring next year. And why would we give up Farmar for Williams? Doesn't make any sense.
It was probably Thorn who posted that |

I wouldn't even trade Farmar for VC straight up, let alone include Odom. _________________ "Even though we survived through the struggle that made us, we still look at ourselve's through the eyes of people who hate us."

Does anyone really think Phil, Kobe, or even the Buss's want this done?
At some point, common sense helps. Vince Carter would do nothing here. _________________

Why does everyone feel we need to make a trade with the Nets.... Most of you must think they have great players or something... Everyone on that team is washed up other than Richardson. They are barely in the playoffs in the East where you can basically get in with a .300 pct record. _________________
