Now, that's a nice thing coming from you guys. Thank you a lot :). First post here, BTW.

I am glad Pau is now playing for the Lakers, for I'm also a Laker fan since I was a kid. Back then here in spain TV coverage of NBA was very poor...just one match per week. Of course it was always a good one and many times it was a Lakers' match...so I happened to grow up watching Magic at his best ;). One can hardly resist growing up as a Lakers fan if you happen to see that LEGEND on the TV Screen.

And now the best spanish player in history is in LA, playing for the Lakers. Talk about a wet dream coming true for me...

next move: go and get Calderon!!!!!!! (J/K...or maybe not ;)...).

PS: the other good thing about this transfer -for us spaniards- is about Marc. His progression here with Akasvayu in the ACB is nothing short of phenomenal (he's the league's MVP week after week), and he deserves to play in the NBA. Had he gone to LA he would've had struggled to play -with AB and Mihm in front of him it would've been understandable- and his progression would've stopped.

Now he'll prolly go to the Grizzlies the fact that they are in such a bad situation will actually help him. In a team so short of talent, he'll enjoy a lot of minutes and have some years to improve even more and become the amazing player he's promising to be. Well, that will be possible if Grizzlies' GM does't swap his rights for some disgrace of a player...as they are used to do lately.

Watch this guy carefully, guys, for I've read someone in the States say the "good genes" of the Gasol Family belong to Pau...and Marc can really surprise us in the future :).

Hi, I am from Bilbao (Spain) and I want to thank this board for creating a spanish forum. I also want to thank Lakers for letting Gasol be a member of this great club. He is not going to dissapoint you. Gasol is a winner.

I was living in Riverside (California) during one year and I had a great time. I went to the forum and I saw the great Magic Johnson and Vlade Divac. We won.
