Wow, this should be fun to watch. _________________

I think Kobe is just doing a tour of all the ASG events... he did the slam dunk already...did the rookie game....he's done those assorted 3 on 3 team events.... did the skills challenge....now all thats left is the 3pt shoot out...
Hope his bum finger isn't still jacked up by AS Weekend....he has the potential to get in a groove and hit all of them.... _________________ ..LEAD BY EXAMPLE...do a good deed today. |

Should be fun to watch. I have a feeling he's either going to catch fire and win it or finish dead last. _________________

Didn't he injure his shooting pinky finger? don't you think it will hinder his shooting?? _________________ GET ARTEST! |

Kobe could win it. Easily. Since when does Kobe get the oppurtunity to score on ONE player, let alone wide open 3's.
I feel good about this. Go Kob'. _________________

along with the pinky injury what if it ruins his shooting form, since he has to make shots with a time limit _________________ MDI's Mamacitas

Who wants to bet Kobe shoots atleast 7 3s today vs. the Hawks to prove that he 'belongs' on the 3-point contest? _________________ - Scuse me while I kiss the sky! |

Like someone else said i think Kobe will either get super hot and win it or he will come close to last but with Rip in it i dont htink Kobe will have to worry baout coming in last.
Its definitely gonna a super exciting shootout and ill be rooting for Kobe all th way but i believe that Peja will take it. _________________

Rip's 3P% is better than Kobe's FG% this year. Factor in Kobe got a bad pinky. _________________ "Baron Davis is a good friend of mine, Carlos Boozer is a good friend of mine, Ron Artest is someone I've known since I was a kid … those are guys we could've gotten," Bryant said. | Damn, if the best player in the league is willing to do this, Lebron should have to compete in at least one dunk contest. |

. That being said, i think Kobe is a VERY streaky shooter so he has to make the first couple of shots to even HAVE a chance. _________________

Kobe is not that great of a 3 point shooter.. It's just the degree of difficulty of some of the 3s he hits.
If they had a competition where you had to take the shot falling out of bounds with 2 defenders on you I'd expect Kobe to win every time |

| wonder if he is really going to prepare before the contest.. the real three point shooters are pretty quick in getting the shot off the rack.. hey, he is doing it for fun.. so good for him. |
