This is a side of Kobe that many don't really see. I think it was a good commercial. I just wish he didn't lower the court to 8 feet. He should be able to do those dunks on a 10 foot rim...the lateral quickness slide out thing was hilarious.. |
It's not 10 feet, but it sure as hell isn't 8'. It's AT LEAST 9.
Yeah, I'm nitpicking, I apologize. |
Eh...no worries...I hate when people shortchange Kobe's accomplishment and always correct them when they do. |

Thanks for this, BDG. The audio clip is cool. Bryant's got a good voice. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see/hear him as an analyst after he retires. _________________

UPDATE: AIR ZOOM KOBE III! NOW AVAILABLE!
The 24 Store has launched on KB24.com.
The black colorway of the Air Zoom Kobe III is now available for purchase. Five random pairs will be autographed by Kobe himself on KB24.com.
The limited edition All-Star colorway will be on sale at 9AM PST (Sat. 2/9) exclusively on the KB24.com Store. If you're interested, you probably should be up early, as these are expected to sell out quick.
Hope this info helps, especially for those interested in buying the All-Star colorway, because they'll be hard to get. |

Shoes are complete TRASH. Shame on NIKE for releasing crap like that. They would have to pay me to wear those waffle-looking things.
LOL @ anyone buying those for $130.....when in a few weeks, they'll hit the outlet racks for $80 (as ALL Kobe shoes do). |

You have to try them on...they may not look that attracting, but they are one of the lightest signature basketball shoes Nike has put out at ~13 oz.
Anyways, I'm planning on getting the All-Stars tomorrow if there's any left. Only 48 pairs. |

I just bought them (black colorway)....and you know what, even if they are the crappiest shoes ever made (which I doubt given my past track record with ZK1 and ZK2), I don't regret buying them - simply as a show of support for a guy like Kobe, who goes out and busts his butt daily and gives it his all for my team.
I never used to buy athlete endorsed gear....but a few years back when I saw Kobe put up that 81pt game, it all changed. Turned out the shoes (ZK1) were pretty damn good....certainly better than anything I bought before for <$50...it was a quality shoe and it was durable and comfortable.
When are the mods going to ban you anyway....I'm getting sick of your threadcrapping. _________________ Basketball isn't part of life, it is life.

i agree somewhat with Kray, the only reason i would consider buying this shoe is for the sole reason of supporting Kobes hard work. Although, I don't like many of the color combos b/c of their exageration on the net looking area...I do plan on buying the "Black Mamba" color scheme ones. _________________

y not? aint they tryin to sell these shoes?
i for one think that this could be the ad campaign that brings kobe back from cold and stoic to warm and light-hearted. kobe in in sum tights dunking and Ding up would be the best shoe ad out there. _________________

Those that say they don't like the Kobe All Star shoe maybe didn't see this years All Star jerseys for the West. His shoe goes great with the jerseys! _________________

| Now the Mozart one is a legitimate 10 foot rim. Like this one, but the Da Vinci one was hilarious. |

Kobe looks even more ridiculous than before, I love it. How can he even shoot wearing that stuff, how can he keep a straight face and not start busting up? I love when he just turns and looks at the camera, classic. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

Did you guys see Kobe wearin' the All Star Kobe shoe yesterday during his 3 minutes on the floor?
I knew they would look great with the All Star Jersey.
I think they looked HOT!! Much better than the other player's shoes did.
Congrats to all lucky enough to have gotten them! _________________

Loved the second commercial as much as the first.
Its just soooo ridiculous to see Kobe dressed like that and still balling up.
That last dunk that it didn't show the end of looked sick in slow-mo. _________________
