Im hearing alot of rumors being thrown out there, and i herd Mike Miller to NJ for Nakbar & Maglore thats 2 expiring contracts, im thinking if the Lakers are actually thinking about Trading Odom now (which i wouldn't) why not for Miller? But in a 3 team trade. We all know the Heat have expiring contracts and want another player to play with Marion/Wade, so how about this Proposal?

Lakers Get: Mike Miller, Udonis Haslem

Heat Get: Lamar Odom

Grizzlies Get: Jason Williams (Expiring Contract) & 2009 2nd Round Pick (LA)

Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Miami and L.A. Lakers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Miami and L.A. Lakers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Lakers:
Bynum
Gasol
Miller
Kobe
Fish

Heat:
Blount
Odom
Marion
Wade
Banks

It's not a bad deal all the way around. However, Haslem is a shorter version of Turiaf. I'd make the move for Milicic. He's an athletic big and can backup both Gasol and Bynum. My guess is that Memphis would want to clean house after/when they move miller. Cardinal and Milicic are their remaining bad contracts.

We can't do that trade. We cannot trade draft picks in consecutive years. That is why the trade for Pau was for 2008 & 2010 picks. This trade can't work.

Edit: Didn't see that it was a second round pick. But I still don't like this deal.

i think there needs to be a sub forum so people can post their trades, because sometimes they put things in their titles like "LA-MIA" making it seem theres a rumor but just a fan playing gm with the ESPN trade machine lol
