I don't know much if Golden State is willing to trade with us, but hearing rumors from ESPN of Pietrus waiving his Bird Rights so it's easier to trade him is sounding nice right now.
Pietrus is a 6'6 - 215lb SG/SF.
Although we really don't need anymore SF, we can still have him play behind Kobe to relieve Kobe's finger right now. He's very athletic, and an underrated defender.
My trade idea is to send
Chris Mihm + Coby Karl for Mikael Pietrus.
TRADE MACHINE
Why GS does it? They don't have to deal with Pietrus running his mouth anymore. Karl is a great young 3 point shooter, which GS loves to do. And a decent big center in which they can use in case a team goes big, Mihm will be back by playoff time. Or they can use him as an expiring. _________________ Andrew Bynum - Rebirth of a Beast (Making of a Beast Remix)

I would do it. But I think GS would want more than a perennially gimpy pirate and an unproven prospect with a history of cancer. _________________ UCLA, Los Angeles, CA. Born and Raised. Westside!

| There's already a thread about this here. Of course, waiving his Bird rights changes things. |
