that may be true, but the Lakers did other stuff good as well such as only turning over the ball nine times. I can tell you this much, if we meet the Suns in the playoffs, we will not get rebounded like that with Bynum back.
Great win by the Lakers. Kobe big with 41, Gasol with 29, and Lamar becoming consistant as a third option? 29 points from him. _________________

Off topic but I created a thread in the NBA Discussion thread about Mike Miller.
He's not playing today and I see NO injury reports whatsoever. Anyone have info? Is there another trade on the horizon or is it just pure coincedence that he is mysteriously not playing the day before the trading deadline? |

He wasn't alone. Odumb had his lapses too. But overall, everyone hung in there and played to win.
Very nice TEAM victory. |
Odom missed what 3-4 layups and finished with 22 points. He could easily have 28-30 points if he finished those layups. _________________

This game wasn't even up and down, fast break style..It was a half court game and everyones shots were falling. _________________ "After slamming in an alley-oop as the Suns center(Amare Stoudemire) clung helplessly to his arm, Bynum hopped around like he was on a pogo stick, grinning and nodding in a 'Who’s the man-child now?' sort of way" -Chris Broussard of espn.

Not as funny as it will be when Ariza and Drew come back and put him on a couple posters. That will be down right hilarious. _________________

Man, we did not play well on the defensive side, but still controlled this game pretty much the entire time.
The future is just ridiculously bright for this team. _________________

Anyone else perplexed as to why D'Antoni wasn't at least T'd up during his outburst?
Refs give him way too much room to throw a fit. _________________

But he won't be that motivated again until the playoffs. He won't admit it, but you know how bad he wanted this game against Kobe and the Lakers.
He would have been running his mouth for the next 6 weeks if they got this win. |
Agreed. I got off the phone with my buddy and I told him that Phoenix had better enjoy this, because this is the hardest he's going to play for them the rest of the year. _________________

Looking at the big picture for the Suns, they still have four games with Detroit/Boston. If they cant win those four, they can be on the outside looking into the playoffs. Just something to think about.
Btw, i dont know who the nba analyst is that was on ESPN a while ago. But he brought up something interesting about the Suns. He said when Shaq and Amare are both in that they had some problems because neither like to come out and defend the pick and roll, and also Steve Nash cant defend the pick and roll very well, so thats how the Lakers attacked them.
He also said that the Lakers are his pick to get to the finals _________________

Ariza on Hill early would be nice.
Having our starting center would be also.
But screw it! We won! _________________

Joel Meyers.
I believe it was during the Denver game when Sasha had 22 and hit 4 or 5 shots in a row. |
