| A little question. We are down 1-2 with San Antonio. If we'll win next 13 april, and both teams end season with same records, which team wth best record? |
Better winning PCT within your division. Spurs are currently 7-5 and Lakers are 5-2. So if we were 2-2 with SA, and records the same, we'd win the tiebreaker =)
Two-Team Tiebreaker
1. Better record in head-to-head games
2. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
3. Higher winning percentage in conference games
4. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
6. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed
Three-Team Tiebreaker
1. Best head-to-head winning percentage among all teams tied
2. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
3. Highest winning percentage in conference games
4. Highest winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
5. Highest point differential between points scored and points allowed |
Not entirely correct. SA and Lakers are NOT in the same division, so you have to go down to the 3rd tie breaker - better conf record. |
You're right. Same result anyway though. Lakers have best intra-conference record in the NBA at 20-8. =) |

Agreed. Remember, we tied the game against Houston down 12 with 1:30 left in the game. It isn't over.
It just feels like it's over ... you know why?

Pau + bench would have been sufficient. _________________

Kobe to the line again.. But man, we just can't put these f's away, starters shouldn't even be in right now.. At least they don't have a long flight for tomorrow, and no jet lag either.. _________________

Every tune in to ABC tomorrow morning at 11:30am and root for Detroit.
They play Phoenix. If DET wins and we can put away Seattle on the road, we'll add some cushion. |

| People think the starters should be on the bench right now. But if we were down 14 with 3 mins left and Phil benched the starters, we'd be PISSED. |
