Roy sprained his ankle prior to the ASW. It hasn't healed and has worsened.

He re-aggravated it today against Rondo.

He'll have an MRI tonight and the Blazers will go from there.

He'll make the trip with the team, but it's uncertain as to whether he'll play against the Lakers or Clipps.

Yahoo: Roy speculated that he may need up to two weeks of rest, although he had not had his MRI.

With Kobe on the court - win.

With Kobe faking a 1-game suspension - win.

Anyway, is Radman going to play? I don't want to see Luke starting again. It pains me greatly.

Lakers will win, but it will be a closer game than the Seattle one. We could do a blowout, but I don't know how Pau's stats are against other teams or other players.

Yahoo! Sports - Update: Roy said his ankle has not responded to multiple daily treatments and has worsened over the past week-and-a-half, The Oregonian reports. Roy sounds like he won’t be joining the team for a two-game trip to Los Angeles this week.

I just read on a blog that Nate McMillan will probably insert Travis Outlaw in the starting lineup at the 3...While we still should win, the thought of Luke trying to guard Outlaw is man10 man10 man10

I don't know if there will be links for the video stream this time, since this is an NBATV game. If I find something, I'll post it here - if not, it will have to be radio (www.nba.com, "listen live")for me and others who watch games on their computer.

Quote:
LA Times: In a bit of a scheduling quirk, the Lakers have not played the Trail Blazers this season, although four of their final 26 games are against them. Portland played surprisingly well during a 13-game winning streak in December, but it has lost seven of its last eight games.

And JSM - you should really update that radio link when you start a thread. All the nba.com radio streams are 100% free now. You can even choose which announcers you're going to stream online. man12

Prepare for some prolonged pain then...Vlad has menstrual cramps, and based on past experience, it's going to take at least three weeks.

Blowout City

I agree...start Sasha at the SG and move Kobe to SF...Luke is liability out there on defense and will be pwned by Outlaw...get Sasha in there so we can shoot the lights out and get on a run quick to blow them out
