BDG, where'd you get the info he was updating his truth section? I'm a moderator there, and no word has gone out from Eric about anything. Am I missing something?

Not that you should be surprised about that. man12

Kobe executed that interview to perfection,

"We still got a couple guys injured, Bynum, Ariza...Radmonovic should be back soon"
No Mihm mention.

Kobe is saying his name right I believe... Sounds like a proper accent as well.

One thing about Kobe is that he will never admit that he's wrong, but his actions will normally speak louder than words.

The falling out with Phil had Phil writing a book during his sabbatical and it had some pretty candid comments towards Kobe. Meanwhile Kobe behind the scenes wanted to scrap the Rudy 3 offense and bring back the triangle. Once that season ended, Kobe was on board with reuniting with Phil and from that moment on, he has Phil as one of his closest confidants. Kobe said that there was no reason to hold grudges. Life is too short.

Then you move on to the Big Fella, which isn't really as important as making good with Phil. However its good to see 2 Laker greats, past and current, to come together and make amends.

Then, by far the most important mending of relations, came between Kobe and Dr. Buss, a man he once called "dad". Kobe won't say it, but his beaming cheek to cheek smile screams "sorry to ever doubt you 'Dad'".

Kobe has played his butt off this year and has been a better leader. At the end of the day, he's said that he is done with playing GM from here on out. I'm happy for Kobe. I'm happy for the Lakers organization. But more importantly, I'm happy for all the optimistic Laker fans that didn't abandon ship.....cause this ship is heading for a 'ship.

BTW, ESPN has pronunciations for players and this is Pau's:

Pronounced: POW Guh-SAHL

The way Kobe says it, it sounds like Gah-saul..... or Gas-all / Gas-saul.

Not to get too ahead of ourselves, but as long as Kobe is ready for the regular season, we should be fine imo.

Kobe is just pronouncing it in Spanish. At least sometimes he does. Sometimes he sounds different. mhihi
