Blazers are gonna bring their A game...everyone from 1-12 from that team will show up to play
WIth or without Roy, this will be a tough game
Rough hostile environment and these young Blazers are scrappy and they just don't go away when things get rough
It should be a close game but I expect us to edge them out in the 4th _________________ MDI's Mamacitas

This game should go down to the wire. You could send the Original Dream Team up there to play them, but if you put Laker jerseys on them the Blazers would play them close. Should be a fun game to watch and I'm sure their fans are already starting the Beat LA chant.

This is going to be a hard game. This time, they will come prepared, so we better take them seriously. _________________

they did come prepared in the last game as well...and still got blown out in the second half.
I agree tho this one will be slightly harder because its second game of a back to back but we have been sensational as of late and in general on second night of back to backs.
Roy will probably sit out but that won't make or break it.
I still expect a double digit win from the Lakers altho we have struggled in the Rose Garden the last few years...but Kobe has always played well there. _________________

This game is going to be tough but I think the Lakers pull away in the fourth.

Fisher, Gasol, and LO have all played pretty mediocre (compared to how they have WERE playing) in the last couple, so I expect a big game from them. This is gonna be a tough game but I see us taking it.

I'm scared about this one...One thing I'm sure of though is that Pau needs to play a really dominant game.
Oh, and don't put Pau on that Kareem jr. He can't guard him. |

i think we got this....we came out VERY flat in the first quarter of tuesday night's game...i dont expect that to happen again
We need to take care of this team since they're without Brandon Roy... _________________ Michael:"Peter where the hell were u yesterday what were u doin?!"

Pau should be well rested. Lakers are going to need a big game out of him tonight.
This is going to be a tough one, but I think Lakers can definitely win it. _________________

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Roy does play. In fact, I easily expect him to. Seems like whenever the Lakers are in town or on someone's schedule, people miraculously heal and come back to play against us. I've just seen it far too often.
For better or for worse, I say for better, the greater the challenge, the greater the reward. _________________ .

just read a comment from a blazers fan on the predictions thread at espn:
Quote:
At the very least, I want someone to knock Kobe on his behind or whack at his pinky. The Blazers would be stupid not to try to exploit his injury. If not us you can bet the Spurs and other top teams would. Who will be our Raja Bell?

Los Angeles (41-17) hasn't had an 11-game streak since March 13-April 2, 2004, but it also hasn't beaten the Blazers on the road since Feb. 23, 2005. In fact, the Lakers have usually struggled in Portland, losing 25 of 33 there since January 1992.
