I didnt hate the blazers b4 and I don't really care that we lost to them but what irritated me about the lost was the stupid announcers. They were talking all their ish the whole game. They were terrible

yeah, we were leading all game and then when the Blazers finally got a 1 point lead, those announcers said something like "there we go again, the Blazers are just dissecting the brain apart"

That made no sense. we were beating them all game up to that point.

We're fine... we match up well against the Mavericks. They have JKidd now obviously, but I haven't been too impressed with what I've seen of him so far as a Maverick..

Mike Rice has been like that forever. Biggest homer color guy in the league outside of Tommy Heinsohn (Boston).

mm... yeah. well said.

I'm not saying this loss doesn't hurt. Every loss hurts, especially in this conference.

This conference is insanely close this season. I can't remember another time where just 2 or 3 consecutive losses had the potential to drop a team several seedings. It makes taking a loss all the more difficult, but we all have faith that the Lakers will soon string together a few more Ws to make us forget this one loss just like with the game at Atlanta.

Quick fact check, the losing streak at the Rose Garden is only 5. The last time the Lakers won at Portland was more than three years ago on Feb. 23, 2005. I don't know why but I really hope the Lakers win their next game there on April 8th.

I forgot when exactly it was but late in the fourth, when we were down, Kobe shot a fadeaway 3 pointer from the corner that was eerily similar to the one in Kobe's 65 point game against Portland in Overtime.

If that would've went down . . .

I'm just glad we're not, and have never been, one of those sad pathetic teams who acts like they won the championship after beating an elite team in a regular season game.

Last time we played Dallas was right after Ariza and Bynum went down and Kwame Brown was starting at center.

the refs were terrible that offensive foul they called on kobe changed the game because they went down and took another lead while we could have tied it

the reffing was not good at all tonight

it was just an overall bad shooting night

nothing was dropping for us

we got more boards than them and more free throws them and still lost

we always have trouble in portland and it isn't surprising that we lost

we were due anyways

and this game was a second of a back to back

I would worry too much about this loss...

Regardless I consider them a better team than the Blazers.

While you can say that, Portland definitely matches up better with the Lakers than Dallas does.

We would have won this game with Bynum.

Mavericks will not stop us.

god those portland announcers were sooo annoying..i guess all they got going for their team is to keep on hating on elite teams.. since there's no way in hell they'll make the playoffs this year

uh they scored 119 points!

LA was too tired to play defense. But for the future, Portland is going to give us serious problems, just like with our past matchups with them.

They have a lot of good players but not many great players. Aldridge owns Pau, and Outlaw can get his shot off anytime he wants. Not to mention Roy.

I wasnt able to watch the game except for the last minute. Disapointed they lost, but the positive is that it gives the Lakers a sense of reality that they arent going to blow out teams every game.

This is also good going into the game with the Mavs on sunday, Lakers will be pissed and hopefully they will take it out on the Mavs.

this is a nice look into the future...this will be the team we'll be facing for the next 5 or so years for the #1 seed in the West...once both teams are healthy (bynum, ariza come back for us, and Oden comes back for Portland) then we'll see how good both teams really are....

this loss really pissed me off....i hope we kill them both times next time...hopefully we're not facing them on 2nd night of back to backs again...

Why is it that we cant beat these guys and if we win its a squeaker or it takes a Herculean effort by Kobe (two 3pts at the buzzer or 65 pt effort) to barely beat the blazers. We just need to get better PGs. I dont know why everyone here keeps saying our PG situation is solid. Just look what they did to us last nite with Jack. He got into the lane at will and used Fish and Ears as a revovling door.
