Announcers are heartbroken. Sad thing is, these announcers weren't too bad. Homerism leaked out at times, but overall, they were pretty good.

yeah, i was pretty impressed with the announcers, they were professional and even called it when refs didnt call fouls against sac players. not like them losers called the portland announcers, they have to be the worst in the NBA

They are such a great crew compared to those dumb butts in Portland.

Yeah Grant Napier was on Loose Cannons today and he was giving Kobe props

I wasn't refering to you, you must not have been in this thread earlier. There was another poster that said he hoped we would lose by 30 because we weren't playing well, I was poking fun. I was agreeing with what you said, we need games like this, this is how it's gonna be if we have to play San Antonio in the playoffs.

Weezy, you wanna quote the actual post?

If I'm not mistaken, the actual post said "If we're going to lose .... I hope we lose by 30" didn't it?

Why would you lie and say the OP said he/she hoped to lose by 30? Why would you do that?

Bleh, get back to me when you learn that games aren't over in the 2nd quarter and there's still another half to be played. You want to give up on the team that early fine, but the negativity doesn't help the gameday thread.

You're not gonna quote it? Why not?

I just wanna know why you would completely misquote someone's post. I don't think that's fair to the OP.

Don't forget, you also had a post where you said we're definitely gonna lose.

I really hope the Lakers don't get too happy with this win though. You play like that for 3.5 quarters and you're not gonna come back against playoff teams.

I don't know WHY we've been in a funk the past 3 days, but we've got to find a way to get out of it.

We're supposed to get better as we near the playoffs (a la Spurs), not worse.

this was by far the ugliest D game I've seen all season and its not very encouraging.....Sac got into the lane whenever they wanted, I don't consider this a good win at all if we continue to play D this way.

Nive win by the Lakers. Kobe had to carry the srubs (less Gasol) in the 4th.

BTW, Luke Walton is pure melted CRAP. WHY is he taking 13 shots in a game?

I was really hoping for Brad Miller to roll over his ankle.

We shouldn't have won this game. We're lucky the Kings are so young and don't know how to finish games. Kinda reminds me of us a few years ago.

Kobe's insane personal tear in the 4th will probably receive the most attention from tonight's game, but I hope Pau gets his props as well.

He was the only one scoring consistently throughout the game. Without him keeping us in this, I don't think Kobe would have been in a position to strike at their jugular like he did.

Their only answer against Pau was to get dirty. The refs shouldn't have allowed it, but they did. I had forgotten how much I hate Brad Miller until tonight. The dirtiest big man in the entire NBA. He should have been fouled out by mid-way through the 3rd. He was getting away with murder out there. With a different officiating crew, Pau could have gotten 45 tonight.

31 points on 15 attempts is terrific. We couldn't have asked for more out of Pau tonight.

He was pouring in the offense most of the game. He stepped up on D in the clutch. And he provided his standard "LET'S GO!" motivational yell throughout the game.

We play them twice in April. Bynum and Ariza will be back for at least the season finale against them. They should be back for the game at Arco on the 6th. Can't wait for that one. If they didn't have any answers for Pau, I can only imagine of what kind of headaches the Pau-Drew punch will give them.

what did the fans say/do?

I must have missed it

After he was fouled going to the basket, they asked him "that remind you of Colorado?"

You know why don't you?

They started Kobe MVP chants and the admins shut it down to prevent further embarrassment.

There's no way we can win the conference this year.

To win the conf, you have to come to play every night. tonight we are just not there.

What makes me mad is that this kind of game happens against team like Portland and the Kings

The Lakers will win the conference and will win this game they only down 6 points we took there best shot[

never doubt Kobe and the Lakers
