hmm i see u guys are feeling confident about this game. Im not man11

NO is a great team and CP3 is just gonna kill us. They are coming off a huge win over the Spurs while we have been playing with no energy lately. Our D has been terrible

Lets hope the team get back on form and start the road trip the right way

I could be honest and say I expect a loss because we've sucked so bad lately, but in fear of being called a hater, I'll jump on the wagon and say we'll win this one.

Depends on our D. I would be fine with CP3 going off for 40, and everyone else doing nothing. This game is all up to our defense. Offense is never really an issue with us, we can score easily.

I am not confident with this game, but as long as Lakers play GREAT D or how they played the suns in the shaq debut they should be fine. Lakers 114-109

*BTW, JSM you put the date as March 114h..lol

I agree Kobe with a huge game tonight!

Lakers 108
Hornets 100

Kobe: 48 pts, 6 rebounds, 6 assists
Gasol: 17 pts, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 assists
Odom: 12 pts, 18 rebounds, 5 assists

Worst Case Scenario: We get blown out. I don't expect that though and I hope it doesn't happen. More realistically I expect either a close game back & forth all the way, or us having a slim lead most of the game. Keep in mind we absolutely blew out NO last time in their home so I'm sure they haven't forgotten and will be looking for sweet revenge. CP3 always kills us & everybody in the league obviously. They just blew out the Spurs pretty convincingly. This will be a TOUGH game I expect. Definitely be a nerve racking/heart pumpking game.

I'm really scared of tonight's game

- NO is coming off a huge blowout win over San Antonio...they have the momentum

- Byron Scott will drill into their heads about what we did to them last time we were at NO

- I hope our guys show up for tonight's game and I hope they're not caught up with all the hoopla concerned with the game against the rockets on Sunday. I know they're looking forward to that game but they need to play tonight...if they sleepwalk thru the game (especially on the defensive end) like we did in the past 3, we'lre gonna get murdered.

This is a crucial 4 game trip and it will show how good we are with Gasol facing quality opponents on the road...this will send a huge huge huge statement for the rest of the league.

I hope we get off to a good start by getting a W in NO

Please let CP3 score as many as he wants and shut down any one else. I don't want Stojakovic to rain 3s on us

Tough game tonight and hard to call on the outcome. I just hope an energetic and enthuse team shows up and takes the win.

Are you serious? What if they lost, you will lose more than the lakers.

Does anyone know if this game is being broadcast live on KCAL or on delay? I checked my TV Guide and it says coverage starts at 5:00, which is the time the game does start, but I didn't see an LTV Pre-Game, which makes me afraid that the game might be delayed by half an hour ... is this normal?

if the game starts after 5 it is live, so this SHOULD be live, but you never know.
