Just remember, even with the Rocket's 47 game winning streak, at the end of the day, the best player on the court will still be Kobe Bryant. The Lakers gotta play smart, no unforced turnovers, less three point shots, keep it close and let Kobe close it in the fourth quarter. _________________ If we are all thinking alike, then nobody is thinking! |

Don't panic just yet. Even if we get blown out this game (which I highly doubt), we can't make any assessments about how the team will fare until after this road trip is over. _________________ "We play for one thing and one thing only, and that's championships."-Kobe Bryant

And for the record, Houston is 25-9 at home. Nothing will come easy in this game.
Stern probably wants nothing more than to see Houston's streak continue with a win over Kobe and the Lakers on national television. Either that, or the complete opposite.
Please, basketball gods, let it be #2. _________________ "We play for one thing and one thing only, and that's championships."-Kobe Bryant

I can't wait to see the Mutombo/Mbenga matchup.
Hopefully, he can get in Mutombo's head. _________________

Hell, I think we can win this game no problem.. We've still got some talented mofo's out there, and if one Kobe Bean Bryant is on the floor we ALWAYS have a chance.. I'll be planted in front of the new 46" HD with surround sound blasting at 12:30, pulling for the boys in P&G to end this damn streak..
Go Lakers damnit.. _________________

| hey for what its worth, Houston will be without Carl Landry. I know he is only a rookie, but he has been huge for them during the streak and he gives them alot of athleticism. without him, its a big loss for them, and more reason why Lamar should OWN them ! |

I think we will probably lose this game.Lets face it, with no Gasol or Bynum, we don't have the Guns to score against the Rockets stingy defense. The reason the Rockets are able to win without Yao is because they have their defense to fall back on. If we lose a major offensive chip(Bynum or Gasol) we don't play the necessary defense to off-set the offensive loss. Thats why we will struggle with neither at both ends of the floor. We probably have a better shot of beating Houston rather than Utah. Utah will probably smoke us with their offense, cuz we don't have the guns to stay close and We can't stop them defensively. _________________ "After slamming in an alley-oop as the Suns center(Amare Stoudemire) clung helplessly to his arm, Bynum hopped around like he was on a pogo stick, grinning and nodding in a 'Who’s the man-child now?' sort of way" -Chris Broussard of espn.

The Hornets/Pistons game looks like it'll be over at least 20 minutes before our scheduled game
will they start early? |

I disagree, I've had a nice feeling about this game for awhile, even with Pau out. Houston is a great defensive team, obviously, but Kobe always finds cracks in their defense. I think the team will rally around him. _________________ "We play for one thing and one thing only, and that's championships."-Kobe Bryant

Doubt it. If anything, they'll probably just use the extra time to hype the game up even more. _________________ "We play for one thing and one thing only, and that's championships."-Kobe Bryant

NO losing against the Pistons. Let's take of business afterwards and be in a sole possession of #1 in the West. _________________
