| Man, I can't wait for Bynum and Gasol to come back and give these SOBs a beat down that they will remember for years. |

What? You want Kobe to shoot 33 a game even when he's making only 11? Even a scrub can get that. |
do you really think Kobe would have shot 11/33 if it wasn't for the Rockets defense? Especially battier, wow, amazing defense. He played FLAWLESS defense. Every shot Kobe took he had a hand a few centimeters from his eyes. Literally. And he even made a few of them. I'm surprised Kobe didn't get an eye injury..

He had a bad game.. "he continually forces bad shots".. no, he has been pretty good this season in this department. |
Thing is, these are all rookie mistakes. Kobe's great play masks these horrible ones that you don't see from the stat sheet. |
I love you one game knee jerk react fans. He has a bad game and he doesn't deserve the MVP all of a sudden. Right. |
He has just one bad game? The MVP award is for the best consistent player. Kobe has had some pretty bad stretches. _________________ "The thing that made push pops good is that you had to work for them. IF YOU WERE WEAK YOU DIDN'T GET ANY." |

Huge, huge difference. We'd win this by few with Pau - and this would be a blowout with both Pau and Bynum. |
I agree, but i was making a point. if you ignore the post, it doesn't matter if you have kareem or mbenga there, it is the same result if you don't get them any shots. you gotta go to the post, especially if it is working like it was today _________________

We'll we got 2 really tough games coming up against Dallas and Utah.Without Gasol and Judging todays performance,we are likely to finish this trip 0-4. _________________ "After slamming in an alley-oop as the Suns center(Amare Stoudemire) clung helplessly to his arm, Bynum hopped around like he was on a pogo stick, grinning and nodding in a 'Who’s the man-child now?' sort of way" -Chris Broussard of espn.

amen. i dont think ppl have ever talked to teh fans in the lower levels. ive sat mid court row 5 before and yes they arent that loud but they know their lakers. they follow them just as closely as every other laker fan. sure some are they 2 show face (alot of gold diggers) but sitting next to a 65 year old man who knows his lakers is more of a fan than some chump screaming his head off in the 300 sections because he became a fan in 2001. _________________ "expose foes with hocus pocus flows, they froze, now suckas idealize my chosen blows"-2pac

No, I don't "want" Kobe to shoot 33 a game.. I'm generally talking about it in the sense of the timing of your post.. Kobe isn't thinking "I am embarrassing himself" at the end of a game that he stops playing.. |

Y'all don't get it. I'm not trying to be mean, but this is the highlight of the Rockets season. They might as well enjoy it while it lasts, b/c come playoff time they're going nowhere. |

I'm with you on this one. Kobe had a miserable game by his standards but Battier played pretty much perfect D on him. You can't expect Kobe to carry us every game. It's not humanly possible. The people saying Kobe shouldn't be the MVP because of this one game are ridiculous. _________________

I'm sure everybody will come in here and overreact. We got beat. Kobe had a bad game and we stopped playing defense. I can't believe for the first time in my life, I will be rooting for Boston to beat Houston on Tuesday. Houston's schedule gets mighty tough after this one. We gotta win at Dallas. _________________ If we are all thinking alike, then nobody is thinking! |

This game was very winnable at some point this quarter. Our guys just gave up and decided not to play anymore. Alston and Jackson burned our point guards today, and Battier defended Kobe as well as anyone has all season long. He forced the issue and there was simply no need to do so.
I love McGrady, I really do, but I would enjoy nothing more than knocking his team out of the post-season. Since it seems unlikely to do so in Round 1, I'd take an equal amount of joy in watching another team do it in the opening round. _________________

not nearly as much as you make it seem. If people watch other MVP candidates and teams, they'll see that they are all human. No one is as "consistent" that you want them to be.
